STM32CubeIDE for Ubuntu 24.04

Hello All,

    I am using Ubuntu 24.04 and STM32 Cube IDE 1.16 version. When I try to  burn code to a STM32F401RE Nucleo board. I am getting below error.

Could not determine GDB version using command: arm-none-eabi-gdb --version
arm-none-eabi-gdb: error while loading shared libraries: libncurses.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

and yes I have tried sudo get-install.

Does STM team has any suggestion ?

Hello ,

   ST should write this at download page!! That Ubuntu 24.04  is not supported.

Is there any alternatives to use STM Controllers in 24.04 or changing the Os the only option?
