Not all power regulator voltage sources available for STM32H755

tomseli

Hi,

In the device configuration tool for the STM32H755 I'm not getting all the power voltage source options, severely limiting the clock speed of the CPU.

For some reason the options that are there are grayed out, and I'm missing 1 and 0.

My clock configuration looks like this

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

no fix.

just you cannot choose every combination supply -> speed ; for highest core speed need volt.scale 0 (or 1) and supply LDO setting. with "direct smps" cannot take all.

Hello @tomseli

VOS0 (power scale 0) is not available when the SMPS step-down converter directly supplies VCORE. (datasheet section 6.3.1)

I'm getting the same options with LDO. When looking in RM0399, section 6.3.1 I see the ART accelerator. To which datasheet are you referring?

 Datasheet - STM32H755xI - Dual 32-bit Arm®Cortex®-M7 up to 480MHz and -M4 MCUs, 2MB flash, 1MB RAM, 46 com. and analog interfaces, SMPS, crypto
