CubeIDE v2.0.0 no longer has CubeMX integrated - you now have to use it as a separate, standalone app.

See: STM32CubeIDE 2.0.0 New workflow tutorial.

See also: STM32CubeIDE 2.0.0 released

For discussion of the rationale behind this, see:IDE Version 2.0.0 - why remove MX ?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
