Hello there!
I know most ST uprocessor can work really well extending the internal flash to a Quad Flash. In Keil, I can easily create a FLM file (flash algorithm) and start debugging the project with only one click, even when part of the code is in the internal flash. But in TrueStudio, I can't make it work that way and most ST examples puts a "boot" in internal and tha "app" in external.
Is CubeIDE a little better? Or do you know another way closer to Keil?
