Hello @Atch123 and welcome to the ST community,

I don't know if you are colleagues (with this OP post). But that question was almost already asked there ..

Your question is unclear: what do you mean by "use the board as a custom ASIC"?

The STM32 is a microcontroller.

Does this thread help: STM32N6570-D: Is XSPI/OSPI for memory only, or also external peripherals ?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

So if I assume I understood your question: that "Nucleo board" will play as a kind of slave of another OSPI master, the answer: that's not possible. OSPI embedded in all STM32 MCUs is always a master and cannot be configured as a slave.
