Program stuck in llhwc_slptmr_get() on WBA52

Hello,

I'm using nucleo-WBA52CG.

Does anyone have a problem that when BLE advertising is started, execution is stuck in function llhwc_slptmr_get() ?

Code is generated with CubeIDE 1.14.1 and WBA FW 1.2.0

Hello @cvs_dk 

It was decided to mark this NUCLEO-WBA52CG board as obsolete as it is based on a STM32WBA52 rev A that is not supported with the most recent FW releases.

All new customers projects should start using a STM32WBA5x rev B with improved RF performances.

In this purpose customer should buy/start their project using the NUCLEO-WBA55CG that is populated with a STM32WBA5x rev B being fully supported by STM32CubeWBA FW packages from V1.2.0 onward.

We still do support the NUCLEO-WBA52CG board but only using STM32CubeWBA FW package v1.1.0

Does the part STM32WBA52CG exists in revision B?

The Revision B exist as STM32WBA55CG not STM32WBA52CG. So, I suggest you use the NUCLEO-WBA55CG for your evaluation.

I have to use WBA52. Can you suggest last working combination of CubeIDE and FW version. Should CubeIDE 1.13.2 and FW 1.1.1 work?

From FW 1.2.0 and CubeIDE 1.14.0 there is an "Improved" BLE code generator - more options, multirole etc. This will be never available for the WBA52?

To be able to program you STM32WB52 Nucleo board, you should use the V1.1.0 of the STM32CubeWBA (with any version of the CubeIDE but it is always better to use the latest).

ok, but in the newest CubeIDE I can only select FW 1.4.0 or 1.4.1.

Sorry for this mistake. you have to use an older version of the IDE/MX
