Nucleo stm32 wl552jc1 Programming

Hello, I'm a novice at using this forum and programming stm32 boards, so any advice is appreciated.  My plan is to use two stm32wl552jc1 boards to collect weather data and display at a remote location.  My goal is to learn how to program the stm32 boards while developing this weather data project.   At the beginning here I have several questions.

1. Is the nucleo wl552lc1 the right board to use for this project?

2. Which cube ide should I use?  There are so many it's confusing.

3.  Is there online training available?

4.  What is the best way to learn STM32 programming?

Thanks for your help and advice,

John Allen

Hello @jtallen5 and welcome to the ST Community.

1) Yes, the NUCLEO-WL55JC is the best board for such a project.

2) I suggest you to use the last version of the STM32CubeIDE as an IDE for your project.

3) Yes, there is a training that should help you on your project. This workshop:  specially the video number 4 should do the job fi you

4) To start with the STM32 world. I suggest you to use those Wiki pages. and if you need informations you can have a look on google or YouTube and you are always welcome to ask on the Community if it need.
