Screen Tearing

Hi,

I am using the following screen and CPU : 4DLCD-70800480 and STM32F746BGT.

I configured the LTDC and TouchGFX parameter settings but the screen tears ...

I have attached all the configuration.

Your clock tree seems strange to me.

The LCD-TFT clock and the SDMMC clock looks wrong. If you look at the F746G-DISCO AT, the LCD-TFT clock is at 9.6 MHz. Try with this value and also try to avoid having clocks with a high number of decimals in any case.

Did you have a look at the F746G-DISCO Application Template in the Designer ?

What kind of tearing do you notice ? Could you provide a picture of the issue ?

Hi Alexandre,

I have attached some photos of the problem.

As you can see, it makes a tear when I change screens (no animation is used).

Hi,

It works with 9.6 MHz but the screen flickers.

The best for this screen is 17 MHz.
