Change application template from simulator to a specific target and vice versa in TouchGFX

I created a project in TouchGFX by selecting "Simulator" for application template. Now I would like to chose a specific target for application template. I tried in Config tab and General section. It does show the application template there but doesn't provide option to change it.

Hi,

If I understand correctly you have created a UI project with the Simulator and you now wish to create another project on a board using that same UI. To do so you need to create a new project with the wished application template and with a "Blank" UI template. After creating the project, go to the "Edit" tab and use the "Import GUI" option. Within that new menu press the "Browse" button in the bottom and navigate to the folder of your first UI project, then select and open the .touchgfx project.

It is not possible at the moment to be able to quickly change the application template after creating a project as it can be a significant source of errors. But it does seem interesting to be able to select an application template when you have created a project with the Simulator. Could you add this ideas to the "Idea Zone" of this forum ? This will help us keep track of it.

I was looking to switch between simulator and a specific target within the same project without having to create a new/second project. But the "Import GUI" option does help too. Thank you. I posted the idea to idea zone: https://community.st.com/s/ideazone#0873W000000blMcQAI.
