STM32H7 SAI / I2S max input clock "sai_x_ker_ck"

Hello,

what is the maximum input clock for the SAIs and I2Ss for the H7 ?

I mean "sai_x_ker_ck" and "spi_ker_ck".

I couldn't find it in neither RM nor DS.

Is it dependent on some AHB / APB or D1/2/3 clock?

98.304 MHz is working (it is also in the RM's examples), even when abusing it to create a sample rate of 384 kHz.

There is no single 'H7, so you should check for your particular model.

I knew I had seen this before... but when searching the RM again and scrolling through the RCC chapter I oversaw these pages...

And yeah, I sometimes forget that the H7 models are quite different.

Great stuff, 400 kHz "audio" sampling rate with stereo 32 bit resolution no problem for the H723 at 400 MHz, using SAI1 and I2Sx!
