Enabling complementary output with dead time configuration

I am trying to set up a counter with complementary outputs and dead timing. i have no ouput from the complementary output and there don't seem to be any separate settings. I am trying to use the configurator in the cube IDE.

Which STM32? Which timer? Which pins?

Read the TIM chapter in RM, and then read out and check/post TIM and relevant GPIO registers content.

It was TIM1 I now finally found a video, No I have not read the datasheet, I thought that was the point of the code configurator :grinning_face_with_sweat: . Unfortunately the only documentation I can find is not written from the perspective of doing anything in particular so a bit of a slog.
