 Why adcValue and any other readings always give me zeros?

i tried with professors in CND at AUC but nothing works
i need help

Thanks for the additional information.

Oh, so this isn't even a physical board, but a simulation of one in Proteus? That makes debugging a little harder, and also adds the possibility of Proteus being the problem here.

I can't see anything wrong in the code at first glance, but I could be missing something.

What is the part number of the chip?

Is this a custom board? How is the pin hooked up?

> sConfig.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLETIME_3CYCLES;

Increase sampling time to the max.

stm32f401re

i increased to max (480 cycles) still nothing, it keeps reading zeros

I will help if you answer my questions. You answered 1 out of 3.

Why do you feel that 0 is the wrong answer here?

because when i changed temperature, it change voltage reading in PA0 pin, for example 31 degree is 0.31V, 29 degree is 0.29V but it should have been correct and read like that, my thought is uint32_t is a problem but it turns out to be irrelevant.
for the second question, the pin PA0 is set to be ADC1_IN0 and PA5 is set as GPIO_OUTPUT, also USART1 with RXD to PA9 and TXD to PA10 and no i don't think it is custom board if i understand your question because i am simulating in proteus.

Thanks for the additional information.

i found a problem, it is a chip in proteus, i changed stm32f4 family to stm32f1 family and it worked
you are correct, proteus has an issue, i just need to change the chip
