Hello!
I am having trouble when connecting STM32 to Motor Pilot. I am using F302R8 control board and IHM07M1 as power board. I can see the port in Decive Manager and it says it is port COM5, but when I connect through COM5 from Motor Pilot I get the message "Port Open and try to configure the board" and I am unable to do anything at all in Motor Pilot. I have no clue what this means.

Emelie

I have configurated the board as the manual says, the message is still there. USART2 is set in the "Connectivity"-category and MotorControl is set in the "Middelware"-category (maybe this is the problem?).

I'm facing the same problem on EVSPIN32F02Q1S1.
The Motor Pilot Software says Port Open and try to configure the board when I click on connect.
@EBerg.2 I don't think there's a problem with the MX Configuration. I think something is occupying the COM Port.
I'm stuck, not able to find answers anywhere.

Hi @EBerg.2
Didn't take long.
I was using the wrong baud rate aka "Speed" adj to Connect button.
The error isn't user friendly.
The correct speed fixed it

Check the no. of shunts for which you have configured the IHM07M1 w.r.t code generation, & update the STLink through UTILITY.
