Why is it that CooCox as a company always employs astro-turfing to promote their wares?

So many words, yet no actual information about this ''Cookie'' product.

No web page.

Nothing.

Shame this company didn't put the same effort into posting to help a number of recent users of their product requesting help here...

''The future direction of this company is worth attention''

Basically agree with you. And some formatting would have done good.

''The future direction of this company is worth attention''

One can also understand this as thread.

'Allwinner Technology Inc.', another chinese company, has recently made a big impact on the tablet market with it's A8 derivate, while being heavily subsidized by the chinese government. They even destroyed some smaller competitors on the way.

A whole lot of TL;DR, or verbal diarrhea from the Bennett Haselton school of summary writing.

They even destroyed some smaller competitors on the way.

TI OMAP even? w/1700 employees.

The IP licensing situation with the Allwinner, and long term availability, is something that would concern me.

Heard of other chinese companies, which got prepped up by taxpayers money again afterwards. At least it was only chinese taxpayers money this time ...

That's what I call the anti-Midas effect. Whenever a gvnmnt decides to interfere with a market, it messes it up.

The IP licensing situation with the Allwinner, and long term availability, is something that would concern me.

I might be wrong, but I believe chinese uP companies, especially ARM licensees, are still in copycat mode, and not really able to roll up foreign markets.

That might change in the future...
