In RM0394 Rev 4 page 873/1600 field OCM1 is bits 6:4 which I count as 3 bits. But the description shows the settings as 4 bits with 16 choices.

For example: 1000: is Combined PWM Mode, 1111: is Asymmetric PWM Mode 2.
How do you fit 4 bits into 3 bit spaces?
Bit 7 is used for OC1CE, and Bit 3 is used for OC1PE so there is no space on either end for the extra bit.

Ha! You are right. There is nothing in the text of the description of of OCM1 to look for the 4th bit elsewhere.

I just checked RM0390 Rev 6 page 568/1347 and it has only 8 options for the 3 bits. Which makes sense.
