Embedded Flash memory in STM32F401xD

The STM32F401xD has 384Kbytes FLASH and the STM32F401xE has 512Kbytes FLASH.

Is there a mistake in the reference manual?

3.3 Embedded Flash memory in STM32F401xB/C and STM32F401xD/E

According to the manual STM32F401xD/E have the same number of sectors. I would expect that only STM32F401xE has an additional sector 7.

We are sorry that this was somewhat misleadingly expressed in RM0368.

Table 5 should be read as:

• STM32F401xD has the Flash sectors 0...6, i.e. total=384KB
• STM32F401xE has the Flash sectors 0...7, i.e. total=512KB
