does CAN exchange data with FDCAN ?

i am using one side microcontroller stm32103 which have can1 protocole does this work with othere microcontoller stm32g0b1re which have FDCAN protocol.?

does both communicate with each other ?will read and write the data?

Yes, this is possible FD-CAN is compatible with CAN2.0 and you can enable STM32G0 to work in CAN2.0 legacy mode. For more details on STM32 CAN and FD-CAN implementations and Differences see this Application Note : AN5348

All FD-CAN and XD-CAN devices have a compatibility mode, and interoperate with standard CAN devices.

Except for some niches, market penetration of these new highspeed CAN standard is not very high.
