Hello everybody,
I have some problems with Dfuse Demo recently.
No changes in my device hardware.
In 2 PCs using Win10, Dfuse stopped work.
In other PCs using Win7 continue working correctly.
Have some tips for me?
Thanks in advance
Diego

Look at release schedules and dates.
STM32 Cube Programmer replaces
ST-LINK Utilities
Flash Demonstrator
DfuSe Demo
>>is this the official position of ST ?
I've been here 12+ years, I can read the tea leaves for myself. I'm sure if you dig through posts from ST staff you'll find the deprioritization of the older tools.

Hi Diego,
Same problem here - all my customers are affected by this one.
For development we can work around by using dfu-util but we are expecting someone from ST to come back with a fix (workaround)

The tool is deprecated, use the STM32 Cube Programmer, supports USB/DFU connectivity

Hi,
I solved using STM32 Cube Programmer instead. It's the only solution.
Cube Programmer is the newer tool and is better than Dfuse.
Thanks to Clive Two.Zero
best regards

How to you flash a dfu file to a device. STM32 Cube Programmer does not see it as a file so how is that a valid replacement for dfuse?

Hi,
I started to use STM32 Cube Programmer for flashing .Hex files one year ago. I think it's the best way to program STM32 devices.
So IIt s a long time I don't use .dfu files.
Best regards

This doesn't help me because the firmware from the company I am working with only creates DFU's.

There is the possibility to convert DFU to BIN or HEX using "DFU file manager".
You can find this utility in STSW-STM32080 packet, linked below.
