Hello there,
I know this is an old debate but since we are into production of a device using STM32G030F6 chips, we wanted to make sure the cheapest options are used while keeping them "original".
The minimum price for the aforementioned MCU on ST e-store is $0.69 per 10k. While LCSC store provides them for $0.3 per 100 units.
Yes! we know it's ridiculously cheap with a high chance of being fakes, but we wanted some kind of a confirmation from guys in the forums to make sure.
1) Are they fakes?
2) Is an item considered fake when its price is way lower than the price mentioned on ST store?
Kind regards,
Marzi

If you purchase from Authorized ST Distributors or the eStore you can be assured those will be authentic devices. We can not comment on any other sources. A link to our eStore and to our Contacts page (where you can search for Authorized Distributors) are available under the Sample & Buy tab (top center) on the ST.com home page.

Everything is possible. But probably not - LCSC is a big distributor and for sure has no interest, to become famous for selling fake products.

If you think, this are fakes - dont buy them. Buy from mouser at 1,80 p.p.
Or just order 20 pcs , for first sample boards and test. Then you know - for $10 or so.
I would do it this way.
