Why NUCLEO-F446RE isn't available in MotorControl Workbench 6.0.0?

Hello, Why the NUCLEO-F446RE board isn't available in MotorControl Workbench 6.0.0?

It was available in MotorControl Workbench 5.4.8.

For motor control the recommendation is to use the STM32G microcontrollers?

Thanks for your support!

Deat user,

Unfortunately, the NUCLEO-F446RE isn't supported by the MCSDK 6.0.0 as you mentioned.

However, you will be pleased to learn that the MCSDK 6.1 should be released in the following weeks, and that the NUCLEO-F446RE will be available in this new version. In the meantime, you need to keep working on the MCSDK 5.4.8.

Motor control is available on a large scale of STM32 microcontroller. Yet, it is recommended to use microcontroller with several ADC, and OPAMP. Thus, the STM32G4 and STM32F30 are the most efficient for this task.

Hoping this will help,

Best Regards
