Hi,
I am using the STEVAL-ESC001V1 development kit board with a BlueRobotics T200 motor. The motor runs well with the provided SDK firmware and the motor profiler values, but we are having a couple of issues when changing speeds:
- The range of the potentiometer maxes out at about 50% turn on either forward or reverse. My PWM range is 1000-2000 and 1500 is "0" since it has forward/reverse.
- When we switch the motor from forward to reverse (and vice-versa) after going at full-speed for a few seconds, the motor stalls. It makes a whinding "whoop" sound. Could this be addressed by Rev-up by FOC? What settings can I change to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
