Hello,
I was checking the current rating of the STEVAL-PTOOL4A.
Referring to the its datasheet, it states that the maximum output RMS current is 20Amps. Howver using MC Workbench v6.3.2, it states the maximum peak current is 34A.
Which data is correct?
Thank you.

The 20 A RMS current in the STEVAL-PTOOL4A datasheet refers to the maximum continuous current the board can handle without overheating or being damaged. This is governed by the thermal and electrical limits of components such as the MOSFETs, gate drivers, and PCB copper traces.

Thank you. But what about MC workbench. It allows me to put 34Amps? And this limitation in current is under which voltage? For example, if the output voltage to the motor is 8Vdc Peak, can I have 34Amps even though it surpasses the Power of the board which is 250W?
