Howdy. Sorry to have an issue on my first post. I just purchased and programmed a Nucleo 401re to drive a SimpleFOC shield for open loop bldc motor control. I originally used a 2015 Arduino Uno with excellent results, 0.1% speed variant on the vinyl turntable it drives. With the 401re I get 1.4% variation which renders it useless and wow and flutter are equally poor.
Does the 401re require different parameters. The SimpleFOC info does not indicates any changes as the porting is identical and the motor does work, just poorly.
Many thanks.

Hello @jazzboy
I think you would be luckier if you ask your question to SimpleFOC community.
On ST Side, we provide a Motor control Software Development Kit (MCSDK) available for free to allow you to spin your motor. Amongst a lot of things, you can do close loop control and open loop control. NUCLEO-401RE is supported as control board, you need to plug on top of it a power board.
What is the power board used with your simpleFOC project ?
