Original title: "What is the correspondence between the overcurrent protection threshold and the DAC value for STSPIN32G4? Can you provide the calculation formul"

Shortened in accordance with the posting guidelines.

I have an EVSPIN32G4 evaluation board with a sampling resistor of 0.005Ω.
Why does a current of 40A correspond to a threshold of 7427 (0.37V)?

Hope to get a reply as soon as possible. I'm really concerned about whether it can truly protect my circuits and motors.   :)

3.3V corresponds to 65535 hence 7427 correspond to 0.37V. How 40A is achieved you can go through the document attached, there is section on over current protection.
