Hi, i want to work with my STM32F4 Discovery Board in a stand alone mode. I supply the board with external 5 V like described in the manual. But its works only when my development environment is connected via USB. How can i work in a stand alone mode?.

If there is a solder-bridge for NRST, consider removing that.

Hi Jan, hi Tesla,

thank you for ur answers.

The Problem is solved. Indeed there is a solid bridge between NRST and the on-board-developer (Pin T_NRST) at the buttom side.

I dont understand such a design because in such a case i await a jumper.

To close the SB again its fortunately possible to connect both pins on connectors at the top side.
