Fail to use USB device on a STM32F4DISCOVERY with STM32F401VC

I have an STM32F4DISCOVERY with STM32F401 and I can't find any information about it since it was replaced :(

I tried to use some USB device features but can't get any of them working. I'm able to compile and flash the board and the remaining peripherals looks ok. I'm using STM32 CubeMX to configure the Middleware.

What should I check?

The board is identical with https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/32f411ediscovery.html and the only difference is the mcu (which is also not that different from the 'F401) so you should be good to work with that documentation.
