There is St-link embedded for the stm32f407 card, but I don't know how to use it, is st link v2 still required to debug it? Please help I'm going crazy.

Thread then goes here https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00002GFcoVSAT/no-target-connection-and-dll-error
If I'm not mistaken that's a MINI USB, the MICRO USB is at the SOUTH END of the board, and connects to the STM32F407, and not the ST-LINK.
Don't use charging cables.
Use Device Manager to check/confirm that the board is found, and drivers got loaded.
Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..
