How to use Lauterbach LA-3204 with STM32CubeIDE

olebenny

I am using STM32CubeIDE with ST-LINK V3 and Segger JTAG, and this just works.

My company has now invested in a Lauterbach LA-3204, but it is not directly supported in the 'debug-settings' of CubeIDE, as ST-Link and Segger JTAG's are.

I have found out, that the TRACE32 debugger of Lauterbach can be interfaced to by using TCF in Eclipse, and I have followed those steps to do this for my CubeIDE, and it almost works, but I just can't figure out which start-script to use in my Lauterbach LA-3204.

Best regards

OleBenny

Hello @olebenny

First let me thank you for posting.

However, you are referring to a non ST product therefor I am not able to provide any support for it.

Maybe try to reach the vendor to provide the exact instructions.

BR,

Semer.

I'm interested in this as well.

@Semer CHERNII don't understand your response.
Of course STM32CubeID is an ST product.
Also, Lauterbach is listed in the ST Partner Program.

I think one can expect at least some form of support because of that, instead of just a "not my problem" response.
