Hi, I would like to ask if it is possible to use NUCLEO-F042K6 to program another STM32 MCU via embedded ST-LINK? Thank you. Best regards, Ondrej

I see from the schematics in datasheet UM1956 that there is a reserved CN2 connector with SWDIO and SWCLK, NRST can be found on CN3. But I do not see any jumpers to switch whether ST-LINK is used to program on-board Nucleo MCU or an external MCU like they can be found on bigger Nucleo boards.

No

The CN2 connects to the ST-LINK's MCU SWD pins, for programming that, not programming external devices

You'd likely need to remove the STM32F042K6 from the board, and then escape the SWD pins via PA13/PA14

Thank you for the clarification. I will use a different bigger Nucleo. Best regards, Ondrej
