What is the difference between destructive reset and functional reset triggered using the register MCTL ? Is it possible to clear the standby RAM with destructive reset triggered from software?

In the chapter 53.4 in MC_RGM, there is a useful table which describes the difference between Functional Reset and destructive reset

The question is specific to SPC584Cx/SPC58ECx 32-bit MCU family

Then the selected sub-forum "STM32 MCUs" is incorrect.

The SPC584Cx/SPC58ECx are Power architecture, the STM32 are ARM Cortex M. Quite a difference.
