Do the MEMS LSM6DSD, LSM6DS3, LSM6DSO have better 'shock resistance' than the LSM6DSR?
The following phrase CAN NOT be found in the LSM6DSR datasheet, but the comment is in LSM6DSD, LSM6DS3, LSM6DSO datasheets
"High robustness to mechanical shock makes the
LSM6DS3TR-C the preferred choice of system
designers for the creation and manufacturing of reliable
products.."
When testing we have observed better "shock resistance" in the LSM6DSD and LSM6DS3 than in the LSM6DSR.

Hi Wayne @Nus ,
the internal mechanics is different among the three sensors (same for LSM6DSD and LSM6DS3, first generations). This is because the accuracy specifications have been constantly improving in time, in terms of noise and sensitivity accuracy and stability.
All the devices passed ST internal qualification, shock and drop tests included. It might depend also on the specific stress test you are performing.
Best regards,
Eleon
