Can notification please point to first unread message

Clicking on notification opens the thread so that the last message is displayed. It would be much more useful if it would open on the first unread message.

It seems to open at the post to which it relates - which seems reasonable to me.

If there are several new posts in a thread, it opens on the last of them. I often miss multiple replies because of that.

When I click this notification:

It goes to this:

And IMO that's incorrect, as there is another post above that, which you haven't seen yet. Or at least that's IMO the point of notifications, to show me what's new, not just what's the newest.
