Digital communities can go a long way. We hope you enjoy working and exchanging ideas with fellow members. To foster good interactions and help community users know who you are, we suggest you set up your profile.
Navigate to “My settings” at the top-right of your screen and follow these steps:
1 – Upload a profile picture by going to the avatars tab. You can upload a photo of yourself or anything else that can help community users learn more about who you are. If you are not comfortable uploading a photo of yourself, think about adding an image related to your favorite hobbies or professional interests. You can also choose an avatar from existing collections in the community.
2 – In the biography section, you can write a short bio to let our members know who you are and what you are interested in. If you are here to help others, you may also want to mention the ST products you specialize in. Go to “Personal” > “Personal information” to change it and click on “Save” at the bottom of the page.
3 – In the signature section, you can write a short, personalized message that appears on your profile and posts you start or engage in. Our community relies on fruitful exchanges and good quality content. If you want to encourage other peers to acknowledge your helpful contributions, you may want to add a sentence like this:
"To give better visibility on the answered topics, click on 'Accept as Solution' on the reply, which solved your issue or answered your question."
4 – Go to “Subscriptions & Notifications” > “Notification Settings” to set up the most relevant notifications, as shown below:
Notifications are not at all mandatory, but they help you keep up with interesting conversations or any replies to your posts.
5 – Change of a username
This action is done only by community admins. Add a note on this thread that you need assistance on the subject and one of the community admins reach out to you: How to change profile/username name
6 – Deletion of a account
Ready to update your profile? None of the changes mentioned above are mandatory, but they are most likely to improve your experience interacting with your peers in the ST Community!
