- No. The Absolute maximum ratings mention that the voltage applied to the input pins must not exceed VCC+0.2V. Your example of 50V is therefore not permitted. How you ensure that the voltage is limited to a maximum of 200mV above VCC is a matter for the developer.
- No. Since the input voltage must not exceed 3.5V at VCC=3.3V, your assumed 50V is not permissible. It may be a little confusing, but the VIN mentioned in footnote 3 does not refer to the maximum VIN, but the minimum, i.e. the largest difference between VIN and VCC.
