TSV912 MiniSO8 Footprint (Datasheet error?)

Newtham
Associate II

I am laying out a PCB and would like to use the TSV912IST, which has a MiniSO8 footprint.

See page 18 of the datasheet linked on this page: https://www.st.com/en/automotive-analog-and-power/tsv912.html
(DS4899 - Rev 12 - November 2019)

I believe that the diagram is cut off and the pitch dimension is hidden. I'm pretty sure that it is 'e' = 0.65mm, but I have yet to find absolute verification on this. I should figure this out for sure before I fab my board.

So, I'd like to report a potential datasheet error.

And can someone with ST please verify that I am correct: that the pitch is 0.65mm?

Thank you!

Yes, pitch on MiniSO8 aka 8-MSOP is 0.65 mm.

Thanks, TDK! I'm sure you are correct. It definitely makes sense, and this is what I am assuming. But still it would be nice to know for sure, since the TSB62x is a different part. In any case, it's already in my layout. So I hope, for my company's sake, that it's correct!  :)

It's a standard case size. It doesn't vary between components.
