I ask the question here too, maybe more people see it. Sorry for the duplicated topic!I generated a basic LWIP project for NUCLEO-F429ZI board.I implemented the void ethernetif_notify_conn_changed(struct netif *netif) -function in main.c.LWIP_NETIF_STATUS_CALLBACK and LWIP_NETIF_LINK_CALLBACK are 1.The "__weak void ethernetif_notify_conn_changed(struct netif *netif)" implementation in ethernetif.c are commented out.When I start the project, I can ping the board. But when I disconnect and reconnect the ethernet cable, the link change not detected.The "ethernetif_notify_conn_changed" function never executed.Maybe I miss something important?Can anyone help me?Thanks!

There is a warning of __set_FAULTMASK(1) when using the STM32CubeMX5.5/5.6 to generate the code for the STM32F334, how to correct it. Thanks!

I am using the cube version 4.20.1STM32Cube V1.0When i am using new latest Cube IDE in that this board is not showing in the listKindly suggest which IDE will have this board compatibility !!!!!!

The first 16 lines (all single ended) are neatly assigned one pin each. However the 17th and 18th lines are assigned on the same pins as the first two lines. It would be great if you could help me understand how this works.

I am using CubeMX to set up the peripherals in STM32L452. But if I enable the LSE Clock and this is not working, the HAL_RCC_OscConfig is coming back with error timeout and it has not activated other clocks also. So the system is not running and it is not clear what caused the error, even the error can not displayed because other parts of the system are not running due to missing clocks.The HAL Functions should be corrected, so only the not working clock is reported back and all others are started normally.

The LWIP repo on stm32duino  https://github.com/stm32duino/LwIP already has LWIP 2.1.2 as of 22 August 2019."This library is based on the version 2.1.2 of the LWIP stack."How can we update our local repository with the version from stm32duino, and will stm32CubeMX or stm32CubeIDE recognise it.Thanks Alec

Dear all, I created a project which include reading SD card iwith FATFS library & STM32CubeMX ver 5.3. It works find But once I updated to ver 5.5. When I migrate the old workspace with new CubeMX, the FATFS library doesn't work. After some investigation, I find that the SD card driver number is changed from "0:\" to "Z:\". And FATFS can only support driver number from 0-9 (BTW is it possible to make it supports driver A-Z?). If I choose "Continue" instead of "Migrate", problem solved! Can anyone help to review? My USB HOST (Mass Storage Device) Code is running fine in STM32CUBEMX System work Bench but When this code is implementing in Kiel Software when i am connected the pendrive to my USB HOST Port then my processor get stop and remove the pendrive and i got the watchdog reset and run code as Host idle mode.

How do I initialise it? Do I need to swith on an internal peripheral Bus?

I started small project, where I use "db/plugins/clock" XML file(s) from CubeMX to visualize the state of the clock-tree in the running STM32.Currently I face number of issues. Mybee you can direct me to other resources more suitable than CubeMX files or you can help me to clarify some of the issues below.I was able to parse clock XML and draw clock-tree using graphviz, however I have a problem with connecting schematic elements with the register file (loaded from device's SVD). Examples are taken from STM32L0.xml. The Idea is to parse register/fiels names (from anywhere) and connect it with the schematic elements (MUX, DIV, MULT).What I need is to connect e.g. RTCClkSource MUX with the register containing MUX inputs to be able to decide which input is active. Hello, I am relatively new in this field, and need assistance for my project at work.Recently, in order to have more RAM, I switched from STM32F4 to STM32H7. I saw that STM32H7 has 1MB of RAM, and decided to base our system on this MCU. However, after compiling my code, I see that only DTCM RAM is used by the MCU and others are not used. The DTCM RAM is now full and I can not move any further with my code. How can I make use of RAM_D1 or RAM_D2 for my variables?I am using CubeMX and Atollic Truestudio.Please kindly help me as this is vital for my work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I use STM32F091VI use LSI for RTC clock.I know that LSI is inaccurate.I set the RTC interrupt to 1 second.However, the interrupt interval was 860ms.Can anyone tell me how to calibrate the RTC?I am happy with the sample source code.

IOSwp bit of the Duplex I2S is not configurable from HAL/CubeIDE. This is harmful from the view point of the hardware design. Please make it configurable. STM32H743RM0433 Rev 6CubeIDE 1.2.1According to the reference manual, Both SPI and I2S can swap the serial data line by IOSWP bit . Actually, CubeIDE can configure it for SPI, But CubeIDE cannot configure the IOSWP for I2S . As a result, generated code doesn't have the IOSWP configuration. These can be seen in the screen shots. The project code is attached as zip file. This is NOT a small issue. the serial data line of the duplex I2S is SDI and SDO. All engineer believes the SDI and SDO are Input and Output, respectively. But this will be betrayed. When the Duplex IS2 is configured as slave, SDI and SDO are output and input, respectively. This is not just a matter of the name. If you generate code in CubeMX with enabled USART and DMA for TX line init functions will be called in a wrong sequence. Init function for USART is called before DMA init function but it does some setup for DMA. Since DMA init function enables bus clock that relates to DMA then all settings that were made in USART init function for DMA will be missed (all DMA register will be 0).It works for CubeMX 5.4.0 and STM32L4 Discovery board.

Hello,I am total new to this field and need your help please. I have an application in which I measure data and collect in a matrix on ram. after the measurement is finished, I write the data on SD card and USART. I had a code that worked perfectly on STM32F407. But I now have to use STM32H7. I have configured the H7 SDMMC like the SDIO and also the FATFS the same as the config on STM32F4. However, the writing on the SD card stops after one time of writing, meaning that data can only be written once on the SD card. I've got an issue with the CubeIDE from STM (Version 1.1.0). I generated a Cube project, worked with it for 2 months, edited it,... no major problems. But suddenly the IDE deletes files like my main.cpp,.. I just did some adjustments, like adding another AD-Channel and generated the .ioc file with the MX-Editor in the CubeIDE.Luckly I've got a backup on Bitbucket but I cannot work on ths project because I really need the adjustments I've done.Is this a bug or am I too stupid to do some adjustments without deleting needed files?Has anybody this problem too? Or a solution? I would be really thankful.

Hello,I started an empty project on CubeMX V5.5 (just updated) for a Nucleo-H7A3ZI,I noticed that the clock default configuration for this board has a 64MHz clock.If I change the multiplier on the PLL1 from x16 to x70 to get the max allowed 280MHz, I get an error on the 280MHz clock for AHB1,2 peripheral's clock.However from the datasheet AHB clock can go up to 280MHzIs this just a bug because this family has just appeared?Regards,Marco

Hello! I have a project for the NucleoF767ZI board. I want to use the Mii mode of the Ethernet but in the STM32CubeMx setup screen it doesn't let me. It says that MII is didabled because PB0 is enabled as GPIO output. The thing is I don't know how to disabe PB0 as GPIO output. Also there are other "conflicts" for ETH use. I am using stm32L072RB MCU,When I am assigning pins using STM32CubeMX ,why it shows conflict for some pins ,and is it very critical ? For E.g. - USBStatus:Partly disabled conflict with:PC9 mapped with GPIO_output or/and SYS: Serial Debug WireWhere i have assigned USB to PA12 and PA11 pins not to PC9
