I am very new to coding, but I have to get this program written for work. I need some of the buttons that I have put into my TouchGFX project to consecutively count up and down after each press of the button on the screen. How would I go about setting this up in the program code?

Now, the way I only know is to get the instance in virtual function "scrollList1UpdateItem" like this:virtual void scrollList1UpdateItem(selection2& item, int16_t itemIndex) { item.setIcon(itemIndex); }Is there another way to get it from scrollList?By the way, I see the ScrollList have a function named "getItem", the code of it like this: int16_t getItem(int16_t drawableIndex) { return list.getItemIndex(drawableIndex); }Under what conditions will it be used?
Hello,I have connected two latching type push buttons to two GPIOs and using TouchGFX to see the physical status on a demo screen with glowing buttons. Some background information:BUTTON_STATE_T is a structure containing 2 int members for GPIO states and a copy is updated in Model.cpp on every Model::tick(); Both buttons on the screen are "TOGGLE BUTTON" widgets with "TEXT AREA" on top of them. I do not intend to use "Button With Label" herein. No wildcards are used in this screenI have below code snippet that produces the touchgfx scene behavior as seen in the attachment.GpioStatusView.cppvoid GpioStatusView::handleTickEvent() { // get fresh GPIO states BUTTON_STATE_T *bs = presenter->getButtonStateFromModel(); if(bs->inputPinA == 1) buttonA.forceState(true); else buttonA.forceState(false); if(bs->inputPinB == 1) buttonB.forceState(true); else buttonB.forceState(false); buttonA.invalidate(); buttonB.invalidate(); }There is some obvious flicker
And when I'm going to find the problems using DEBUG mode it gives me this error:Cannot access Memory*** error 122: AGDI: memory read failed (0xFFFFFFFE)Cannot access MemoryAnd this are is LTDC configuration and Clock configuration:
Hi all;I have developed an application where there is a simple SrollWhell with a custom container, in which there is a icon and a number which content depend of the value of the current item selected, so that is my problem:I see that the current item selected is changing sequentially following the scroll whell but the icon and number goes a step back from this.Code:This part is right: void ScreenSetSubsystemView::scrollWheellistSubsystemUpdateItem(MenuElement& item, int16_t itemIndex) { currentItemSelected = scrollWheellistSubsystem.getSelectedItem(); where currentItemSelected is working fineThis part is what I wanted to fix:void MenuElement::setIcon(int SubsystemType, int SegmentNumb) { switch(SubsystemType) { case 0: &nbs
Hello, I recently bought one STM32F413Discovery board, and I would like to ask the developers to create a TouchGFX example in order to use also the display with the new software, and not using the old STemWin.Thank you
Hello, I am having some difficulty implementing a screen transition. I have followed along this thread, but it seems there are some underlying issues with MVPApplication that are not allowing a template arguments to deduced/substituted.Versions:TouchGFX 4.13.0STM32CubeIDE 1.2.0I have a screen transition that I created from within TouchGFX Designer that works perfectly fine, but it requires me to have a button that I don't actually need on the screen. I would like to create my own screen transition that I can use from code. So I used the TouchGFX Desginer generated code as a template, and then deleted the interaction in TouchGFX Designer once I had copied the code. What I have so far...If my FrontendApplication.cpp file I have added this code:#include <mvp/MVPApplication.hpp> #include <gui/datetime_screen/DateTimeView.hpp> #include <gui/datetime_screen/DateTimePresenter.hpp> void FrontendApplication::gotoDateTimeScreenSlideTransitionEast() { transitionCallbackTw
I know that there are a lot of questions and request for graph widget, yet there is no dependeble answer has been provided. It seems that there was a graph widget in previous versions, unfortunately not available now. I wonder if there is any ready to use graph widget that I can add to my project. The most needed feature is the ability to be updated and be able to shift the graph to the left side. The rival product (STEMWIN) has this feature.
I would like to know if there is available a driver, some example or guide to help the development for TSC2013-Q1 instead of programming itfrom scratch. Thanks
After 2 months of waiting, the new release of the STM32CubeFX 6.0 again does not support the H745-Disco . Apparently this board goes to waste.:pouting_face:https://community.st.com/s/global-search/panchev?t=1595604995679
Hi, I try to build a TouchGFX project with the CubeIDE but during compilation I always get weird errror messages like that:./TouchGFX/touchgfx/os/OSWrappers.cpp:1:10: fatal error: touchgfx/framework/include/touchgfx/hal/OSWrappers.hpp: No such file or directoryThis file is definitely in the project (just like the others which create errors as well). The shortkey F3 guides me to the file. So CubeIDE in principle knows where to find it.I already included the path - see attachment. I'm using CubeIDE1.4.2 and TouchGFX 4.13. I know that they are not compatibel but I can't open TouchGFX 4.14. Neither manually nor automatically.ThanksGerhard
Hello! I want to develop device, that should capture 640x480 24 bpp 30fps video from camera module, resize it to 1024x768, overlay some OSD information and to display it on 1024x768 screen. In addition i want to capture this video on SD card.As far as I understand, this is on the limit of capabilities of STM32 microcontrollers. So i have a questions:Is it possible on STM32 microcontrollers? What dev. board is best best suited for making a prototype? Will there be enough CPU resources to poll sensors through simple interfaces like SPI and I2C? Or the microcontroller wiil be overloaded by video processing?
I am working on a custom LCD project using STM32h753 Eval 2. Currently i dont have a tremendous knowledge in LCD. I tried to follow the example codes and some tutorial but not able to make it work. can you suggest any resource or steps to get started?i am using a custom 1024*768 LCD. This LCD receives signals through LCDT. the config given by the manufacturer is #define PanelHSyncWidth 43 #define PanelHSyncBackPorch 29 #define PanelVSyncWidth 6 #define PanelVSyncBackPorch 34 #define PanelHStart (PanelHSyncWidth+PanelHSyncBackPorch) #define PanelVStart (PanelVSyncWidth+PanelVSyncBackPorch) #define PanelWidth 1024 #define PanelHeight 768 #define PanelHTotal 1344 #define PanelVTotal &nb

I followed the tutorial online. I started a cubeIDE project and used the ST32F7508 template to set up my project. I followed the online setup help to setup. Then I created a touchGFX from the file but when i go to build I keep getting this error and can not figure out how to get pass this.arm-none-eabi-g++ -o "TouchTestFive.elf" @"objects.list" -l:libtouchgfx-float-abi-hard.a -mcpu=cortex-m7 -T"C:\Users\dmeissner.VR-SIMSBURY\STM32CubeIDE\TouchGFXtest\TouchTestFive\STM32F750N8HX_FLASH.ld" --specs=nosys.specs -Wl,-Map="TouchTestFive.map" -Wl,--gc-sections -static -L"C:\Users\dmeissner.VR-SIMSBURY\STM32CubeIDE\TouchGFXtest\TouchTestFive\Middlewares\ST\touchgfx\lib\core\cortex_m7\gcc" --specs=nano.specs -mfpu=fpv5-sp-d16 -mfloat-abi=hard -mthumb -Wl,--start-group -lc -lm -lstdc++ -lsupc++ -Wl,--end-group c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.2.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.7-2018-q2-update.win32_1.0.0.201904181610\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: TouchTest
I define a custom cantainer in touchGFX Designer. And I want to add TickEvent for it.
Does on-chip RAM have to be contiguous when using LTDC functionality? Can the RAM address be changed for each scan-line, or it is mandatory that RAM is contiguous for each frame?
Hi,I'm developing an application using touchGFX Designer Version: 4.13.0, all is working correctly when you run Simulator in touchGFXDesingner tool, but when flashing in disco board the screen is fridge and I have to reset the system, again and again the same problem. I have tested that if I use only 4 checbox widget instead of 16 all is working properly, more than four return the same problem.Waiting for your helpRegardsFracncisco
Hello STM Team,I'm working on STM32 based custom pcb with interface 800x480 LCD.I able to add transition from west to east from screens interactions. But if screen perform then my screen will vibrate then transit to next screen. So, if I want to smoothly transition of screen then which changes required ? Regards,Pratik
Hello everyone!I'm developing a firmware to capture video frame from a thermal camera.I was using a F4 chip. But due to the resolution and fps , I had to migrate to H7 (STM32H745).And now I'm having strage problems with the dcmi. The dcmi start sucessfully and capture every frame but sorpresively the buffer start and finish with zeros, the rest is ok .Strangely the first 12 bytes and the lastes 20 bytes. Even if I put the D0 directly to the 3.3V !.In this case the rest of data is resposive and I can see that the DCMI is capturing well D0 .In the begining I thought that was a VSYNC , problem but that makes no sense if I'm always putting the data 0 in high and still getting zeros :(.Thanks in advance !Following is more information:Camera Info:data is valid on high state of vsync and hsync data must be captured on rising edge of pxclkcamera resolution is 80x80 , 6400 pixels => 12800 bytescamera sends the data in a port of 8bits D0-D71 pixel (14 bits) is composed by two contiguous ca
Hello, want to make a full analog synthesizer with just a screen for monitoring. We would therefore need a lot of ADC and GPIO pins to know the potentiometer value. We have seen STM boards with integrated LCDs, it would help us enormously but I cannot find the pins which are free to retrieve the information from the synthesizer.
My reading reference manual it seemed possible at first. I've set back/front porches and sync values in IDE, but it seems I can't anywhere set refresh rate/pixel time. Does this mean that it can't be done?
