Generator create this part not exist in touchgfx project file. But is fine have it here for direct compile and flash. Why this isnt used? Howto add make ... flash here manualy?
I can program and debug fine in CubeIDE 1.5, when I try to use the programmer (2.5) it does not detect the st link on the disco board (F746 in this case) is the IDE using another application to do its flashing (so Programmer is broken), or is it something else? WIndow 7 64 bit.

I remember reading (or hearing) that there was a place to go and get widgets (Git maybe) either to use as is or as a starting point for your own use. However, I can find no reference to anything like that anymore. I found a Git that appeared to be an open-source repository for widgets but the content has been removed. Can anyone shed some light on a widget repository?Thanks,Keith
Thank you for helping.environment:STM32CubeIDE Ver1.5.0TouchGFX Ver4.15.0Board: STM32F769I-DISCOHow is the image file data created by TouchGFX written to the external flash memory on the board?Could you tell me how it works?Is it possible to realize this function with STM32CubeProgrammer?If you can't do it now, do you have any plans to add it in the future?Thank you.
Dear TouchGFX team, I am developing STM32L4R9 B/D includingDSI video mode LCD,PSRAM,OctoSPI Flash,and TouchGFX.Usually the device works well but sometimes it goes to "DMA2D_XferErrorCallback" handler.In SEM32DMA.cpp,static void DMA2D_XferErrorCallback(DMA2D_HandleTypeDef* handle){ //assert(0); printf("%s()\n", __FUNCTION__);}When this error happens, the TouchGFX task comes to a halt but other tasks work normally.Why this "DMA2D_XferErrorCallback" error happens? Is there any good way to prevent from it?And could you let me know what I have to do to get out of this state when it happen?Please let me know if any solution or good guideline.Thanks in advance!J.Park
I have an application with two separate screens. I have declared completely analogous presenter, view, etc. files for each, understanding that the model points to the current presenter to update the current view/screen. All functions and variables appear where they should in the hpp and base class files for each view. The trigger for all updates is the system tick, handled in the model file; the systick just checks for RTOS messages in separate queues and requests screen updates accordingly. And, the model file "knows" about all boxes on all pages. Everything on screen 1 (the home screen) works fine, but nothing on screen 2 will update. So, I am looking for some example of how to do this. Clearly, I am missing something, but I can't see it. I am running GFX v4.14.0 under RTOS, Cube IDE v1.5.0. Thanks
Has something in the image conversions changed in TouchGFX 4.15.0?I was surprised that one of my images being converted to an L8_ARGB8888 failed when doing a conversion in the Designer. The image in question had only 201 colors, but when doing a GENERATE in the Designer, it failed, telling me the image couldn't be converted because it had 584 colors. The image does have alpha. I tried this same image conversion in TouchGFX 4.14.0 with the same dithering setting and it converted it fine.
Hello,I cannot use correctly TouchGFX Designer. When I use "run Target", when arriving at the step of stmCubeProgrammer, I have this issue :... ------------------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.6.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Error: External loader c:\program cannot be loaded. The size of "heap" in my project up to 70+KB in RAM.What are the factors that can affect its size?void touchgfx_init() { Bitmap::registerBitmapDatabase(BitmapDatabase::getInstance(), BitmapDatabase::getInstanceSize()); TypedText::registerTexts(&texts); Texts::setLanguage(0); FontManager::setFontProvider(&fontProvider); FrontendHeap& heap = FrontendHeap::getInstance();// this is too big (void)heap; // we need to obtain the reference above to initialize the frontend heap. hal.initialize(); }
Hi,I have a handful of general observations that relate to adding a TFT LCD to an SMT32 but I'd like a push in the right direction for adding a TFT LCD to a product. It seems that there isn't a particularly common "off the shelf" TFT LCD that can be bought from a typical seller such as RS or Farnell (in the UK). The most commonly supported displays i have seen tend to be from the Arduino community such as TFTs with embedded ili9486, ili9341, ssd1936 but these do not seem suitable for a professional product due to being manufactured by mystery Chinese companies and only available on Alibaba or Ebay. I am using an STM32F767 nucleo board to act as a DSP, reading in values from the ADC and then processing the data. I have been told last minute that the spec has changed and that a TFT LCD now has to be included to display the data in some manner (progress bar, graph, chart etc.) What I would like is to add a colour TFT LCD 3-6 inches in diameter with a resolution between 320x240 to 800x480
Dear STM community and teamIn the TouchGFX documentation there is a chapter for ScrollWheel:https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/ui-components/containers/scroll-wheelAnd there is a UI Template called "Scroll Wheel and List Example"I try to make a custom wheel for my project. In the TouchGFX designer, I can set the "Number of Items" but cannot configure which items (in my case numbers) are going to be displayed.In the documentation and the UI Tempalte, there are those functions "scrollWheelUpdateItem" and "scrollWheelUpdateCenterItem". I cannot find the declaration for "item" nor the call Hierarchy of it.Could tell/show me how I can initialize the elements of a ScrollWheel?Thank you, KFrey.1
I used TouchGFX generator 4.15.0 to create a simple project (from GUI Template) on STM32F746 Discovery board, inside TouchGFX generator, "Run Simulator", "Run on Target" and "Generate Code" all are working correctly. However, when I tried to open the generated project using Keil MDK ARM Toolchain, it cannot be compiled. I compared files between the KEIL compile error message and Touchgfx Generator "Run Target" log, there are some bugs for the "Generate Code" for the toolchain Keil MDK.Some error messages from Keil MDK: "no source": Error: #5: cannot open source input file "../touchgfx/generated/fonts/src/font_verdana_10_4bpp_0.cpp": No such file or directory../touchgfx/generated/fonts/src/font_verdana_10_4bpp_0.cpp: 0 warnings, 1 errorcompiling Font_verdana_20_4bpp_0.cpp..."no source": Error: #5: cannot open source input file "../touchgfx/generated/fonts/src/font_verdana_20_4bpp_0.cpp": No such file or directory../touchgfx/generated/fonts/src/font_verdana_20_4bpp_0.cpp: 0 war
Dear STM community and teamFor further understanding the implementation of TouchGFX, I have watched the youtube video of STMicroelectronics: "STM32 Graphics Workshop - 10 TouchGFX lab temperature sensor display"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYrRjXyAYvsAfter downloading the project file, the functions tickCounter() and lastTempValue() are used but I can't find their function declaration. Could you tell me where these function are implemented and how they are declared?Thank you, KFrey.1
Hi Sir,I have designed some graphics in stm32f29 using Touchgfx.In stm32f429zi i am going to change the 240*320 LCD to 320*480 LCD by own.So now i want to graphic the board using Touchgfx.1.Is there any Possible to bring my new changed LCD board in to Touchgfx Target selection Area and design Graphics.2.How do i program the new board using touchgfx and eclipse.Warm Regards ,NAGARAJ S
Is there some help to build project group with library and spread touchGFX code in different library module as we do in Visual Studio?
I followed instrunction in this online workshop STM32 Graphics Workshop - 10 TouchGFX lab temperature sensor display https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYrRjXyAYvs&list=PLnMKNibPkDnGNY9Ny4FWpM5bgC3b4XdbN&index=10When I get to (minute 18:30) the step build in STM32CubeIDE I get this error list below. Hello,I dont know what is the problem, but when USB is configured in CDC mode in CUBEMX (maybe other modes also can generate the same problem, havent tested yet.) and the code is generated with CUBEMX, touchgfx code genereation will result in file omition from KEIL. There is no matter with STM32CUBEIDE since folders and files are not touched.One suggestion: Touchgfx designer consider some standard place for user code like stm32cubemx so in the regeneration of code, user code remain untouched. The IOC file to ease the problem regeneration is attached.
I want to display a warning window when a single triggered from hardware.It seems that if I want to achieve this effect in touchGFX, I need to add a model window to each interface. Can I add a global window to implement it elegantly?:face_without_mouth:
Thank you for helping.How much SDRAM capacity does TouchGFX actually consume?Please tell me the unit in bytes.environmentboard: STM32F769I-DISCOTouchGFX: Ver4.15.0
Hello!I want to put on screen box, iamge or other rectangular object.I want to catch event when this object is clicked and read coordinates of click.How to do it?At first i tried read coordinates after clicking button. I added iteraction to button, which start c++ function GET_TOUCH()#include <STM32TouchController.hpp> void GET_TOUCH() { uint32_t x,y; // Override and implement this function in OPTIONS_SCREEN STM32TouchController::sampleTouch(x,y); }I got error"../touchgfx/gui/src/options_screen_screen/options_screenview.cpp(115): error: #245: a nonstatic member reference must be relative to a specific object@"How to call sampleTouch(x,y) correctly?
Part 1 Q&A from the webinar "Low cost GUI solution with TouchGFX"Can I use an STM32G0 and TouchGFX without any RTOS?Yes, it is possible. See here: https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/basic-concepts/operating-system/#no-rtosWhat is the license cost for using TouchGFX?TouchGFX comes free with the use on STM32 products.Can this solution be used with a touch display?Yes, it is possible. See here: https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/board-bring-up/how-to/09-touch-controller/Which other UI frameworks can used on STM32G0?Any other ported on STM32.Can you provide the MX25L6433F_STM32G071B_NUCLEO.stldr project so that I can modify it and use it on other NUCLEO board, such as the NUCLEO-F446RE ?In theory yes, any external loader source code can be provided on-demand, just log a ticket to https://my.st.com/ols#/ols/We are going to use TouchGFX on STM32F7Great, good choice, the F7 family is well supported in the TouchGFX Designer and is well suited for GUI applicationsHow/where to
