I can get error that is "Unexpected error has happened" for TOUCHGFX 4.18.1. The program is not opened. How can I solve this?
Hi everyone,I have tried to get image data through DCMI module and transmit to the external graphics memory FT812. However, the MCU get never DMA callback after started although the camera signals can be seen at pins. The DMA handle keeps always on busy state. P.S: I have no external SDRAM, using internal SRAM on MCU for getting image data.uint8_t buff[30*1024]; HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA(&hdcmi, DCMI_MODE_CONTINUOUS, (uint32_t)buff, 30*1024/4);
I am using STM32F756 with SSD1306. SSD1306 is a 1-bit per pixel display. And STemWin library offers Lin to use it for 1 bit. But I don't find any example or source. Please share any example or the configuration file for the SSD1306 display using the STemWin Lin driver.
Trying to bring up a bootloader. On the last step and having difficulty getting the screen working. All the LTDC initialization looks ok and am enabled the line interrupt and the transfer error interrupt. When enabling the LTDC getting slammed with underrun interrupts. Even if tweaking the handle to automatically clean the underrun interrupt they just keep coming. Anybody run into this or any suggestions?
Hello, I'm having trouble inserting my own header files. No error is displayed in the STM32IDE when compiling, but when I compile in the GFXTouch, the errors are in GFXTouch.png.I've already included the paths include in c and c++. How can I include my header files in GFXTouch.Thank you
I'm using the STM32F746 discovery board and I'm trying to display the images captured by the camera. The problem is that only one frame is displayed on the LCD display. The camera don't send more captures I think.Code of the DCMI setup:1.- Fist I setup the DCMI peripheral using the CubeMX wizand integrated in the STM23CubeIDE and the output of the wizard is:static void MX_DCMI_Init(void){ hdcmi.Instance = DCMI; hdcmi.Init.SynchroMode = DCMI_SYNCHRO_HARDWARE; hdcmi.Init.PCKPolarity = DCMI_PCKPOLARITY_RISING; hdcmi.Init.VSPolarity = DCMI_VSPOLARITY_HIGH; hdcmi.Init.HSPolarity = DCMI_HSPOLARITY_LOW; hdcmi.Init.CaptureRate = DCMI_CR_ALL_FRAME; hdcmi.Init.ExtendedDataMode = DCMI_EXTEND_DATA_8B; hdcmi.Init.JPEGMode = DCMI_JPEG_DISABLE; hdcmi.Init.ByteSelectMode = DCMI_BSM_ALL; hdcmi.Init.ByteSelectStart = DCMI_OEBS_ODD; hdcmi.Init.LineSelectMode = DCMI_LSM_ALL; hdcmi.Init.LineSelectStart = DCMI_OELS_ODD; if (HAL_DCMI_Init(&
I've created list in my view window:and by add new date I create elements in list. My custom container looks like that:When I click plus button it calls this function:How u see there is ProfileCount++; variable and I need to pass that value in to my view window. I ve tried to create object and by function pass index to my view but simulator always crashes when i do that. So maybe someone knows how to pass information from list elements?

Also, maybe the ability to draw direction arrows - think person heading in a direction but software knows they need to head to a different degree so arrow points they way they need to go.
I'm implementing TouchGFX on a Custom Board using the same circuit as the STM32H735G-DK for the external memories. I detected that the RAM DQS Pin(OCSPI2_DQS) is always low and does not work. The display is always grey as the framebuffer is not written properly.The display is working well, I tested it by using an internal framebuffer.My project is attached.
Hi, i'm using STM32H750VB and it has 128kB embedded flash, so i'm using an external 16MB qspi flash. When i'm trying to fit firmware to internal & external flash, i modified linker script like this: base hal libraries are located in internal flash and touchgfx libs/gui desingn binaries located in qpsi flash. In this configuration i get hard fault because when initializing __libc_init_array lib, its trying to load binaries from qpsi address space. How to figure out this problem?
Hello allI have a custom STM32L496RGTx-based board onto which I'm migrating a legacy rendering engine. I'd really like to accelerate text rendering and I'm looking into DMA2D for a4 format font data.I have a little test setup which attempts to populate a buffer from supplied a4 test data like this:static void draw_a4(const uint8_t* a4) { uint16_t w=24; uint16_t h=24; uint16_t buf[w * h]; // rgb565 raster buffer uint32_t back = (uint32_t)&buf; uint32_t data = (uint32_t)a4; __HAL_RCC_DMA2D_CLK_ENABLE(); /* constant bg configuration */ DMA2D->BGPFCCR = (DMA2D->BGPFCCR & 0x00fc00c0) | /* DMA2D Background PFC Control Register reserved bits */ (0b11111111 << 24) | /* alpha value (0xff) */ (0 << 16) | /* alpha mode */ (0 << 8) | /* clut size */ (0 << 5 ) | /* start clut loading */ (0 << 4) | /* clut color mode */ (0b1010 << 0
I add three AnimatedImages in a screen, but only one can work normal.I transplant 'Knight Hits Zombie Game' code and bring my own project, the Zombie and Head AnimatedImages can not play but the Knight AnimatedImage work normal. (The Zombie and Head show the first image but can not show the others).
Use touchgfx example with stm32f429 discovery Keil with st link usbWhen I download it with 2 wire (swd), I get the message cannot load flash programming algorithm. Is there a solution?(It is the same even if you change the debug option 0x10000000 or 0x20000000. Please help)
I'm trying to configure the LTDC pheriferal manually but I can't find a schematic of table that tell wich pin of the STMF7 is connectet to a specific pin of the LCD screen. I looked on the STM32F746-DISCO user guide, but I don't find it.
Hello,I am using the TouchGFX GUI on my custom board, which I have fully working now. We want to add a nicer visual display of our battery's SOC. We want a black background with a blue line that traces a hexagonal visual that changes based on the battery state of charge. The higher the state of charge, the further that the blue line "progresses." See below for a visual example. I can create a black box and make the text look similar to that with the right font, but I am unsure how to create those light blue lines dynamically via TouchGFX. Does anyone have any guidance on how to do this?
Hello there!I use a STM32F429 together with an ILI9341 based TFTLCD. I have configured TouchGFX with a partial framebuffer and it works without problems.However, the program sometimes randomly hangs in the _exit() function in syscalls.c.The cause is an assert in the getBlockForTransfer() function in the FrameBufferAllocator.c file. On the screen only float values are written to textareas.Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause of the error?Thanks for your help!
Steps to reproduce:generate project in TouchGFXopen in IDE, it compilesopen IOC, enable interrupt for uart1, save, accept the code generation (it asks about migrating code, not sure why, I have latest versions IDE 1.12.0 and GFX 4.21.3, I chose to migrate)try to compile -> compilation errorsThe first set of errors is easy to fix, they are related to the following lines dissapearing from freertos.cvolatile uint8_t TouchINT_irq = 0;extern volatile uint8_t TouchINT;int32_t X_touch;int32_t Y_touch;these lines were not in the "user code" sections and got cleared after code was generated by IDE.If I restore those lines, there is a bunch of other errors starting with quadspi.c:53:33: error: 'QSPI_Flash_Transfer_Mode' undeclaredI can see (thanks to GIT client) that quadspi.c "suffered" a lot of changes and one of them was removal of that constant.I am using Riverdi 70STM32H7
Hello,I am working on a project that is a custom board with a STM32H755This is a MCU that does not have a "development" or "discovery" board, so i have to build the project by myself from scratch.I am using:CubeIDE 1.12.0TouchGFX 4.21.3CubeMX 6.8What i can share by know about my issue is:I have follow the steps on the videos by (1) embryonic.dk - YouTube but problems are like, they are kinda "old" and the environment has change and also he had use there a "single core" MCU and i am working with a double core MCU, so for example the "fixer" that he uses for the "simulator" issues does not work for me as he shows on the video.At this point i could not reach the point that i can even "compile" the project without issues. I am stuck at the point that i did provide all the paths/includes for the TouchGFX generated files, but the project does not find or compile due the "simulator" folders.Also, i did notice that when i do create a project for a customboard on TouchGFX and then i do generate
Hello,I use STM32F429 Discovery board, which has touch controller,but in my project I don't need it, so I want to turn it off.In BoardConfiguration.cpp I found this initialization:STM32F4TouchController tc; HAL& hal = touchgfx_generic_init<STM32F4HAL>(dma, display, tc, dispWidth, dispHeight,(uint16_t*) 0, 0, 0);And description of touchgfx_generic_init function says:@param [in] tc Reference to the touch controller driver (or NoTouchController to disable touch input).How to turn Touch controller off?Should I change "tc" in touchgfx_generic_init for NoTouchController or what?Thank you,Anton
I purchased a STM32F429 Discovery Board about a year ago. I finally got around to unboxing it today. I want to see if I can figure out how to use the TouchGFX tool with this board. I want to have 6 buttons and a textbox on the display.The board has a program loaded on it from the factory. Apparently something is not right with the software. The screen has Video player, Image browser, Clock/Calendar, Performance, Game, and System Info images on the screen. I assume you are supposed to touch these to see a demonstration of these items.However, none of them work properly. If I touch Clock/Calendar the display will sometimes pull the calendar and clock up. At other times the screen changes to "MJPEG Player". If I touch the System Info "button" it pulls up Image Browser and says "No File Found". Regardless of what comes up, NONE of the buttons respond to being touched. The only thing I can do is press the reset button. This restarts the board and it returns to the default startup screen.Did
Hi,I have this embedded display with resolution of 800x480, MIKROE-3620 which host at the back the STM32 MCU and many other features. I chose the STM32F746ZG as the MCU.At first I created the project with MXCube, added TouchGFX component, build the project on Cube Ide, then I set the screen with TouchGFX and build it all with no error. The display is still black with no response. I also followed video, setted the SDRAM and QUADSPI, otherwise RAM and FLASH would overflow, but still no response.With TouchGFX I just set 2 screens with button. A click on the button it would changes the screen.So at this point, I have many doubts ...I saw in many videos or documentation the use of LTCD periphery to control TFT display. Is it really necessary in my case, since the board has already a graphic driver? Here's the schematic of the display provided from the company. Even more, I'm afraid that when I activate LTDC, it selects pins that are assigned to others.I also don't understand the communicati
I'm trying to configure the DCMI pheriferal of the STM32F746-Discovery and in AN5020 PDF i find that exist some examples implemented in STM32CubeMx. Where i can find it? I don't find the examples in the STM32Cube examples.Foto of the AN5020 examples:
