Hi I am using Stm32L0 series board to create a custom external loader. I am using cubeIDE (version: 1.16.0)I am using winboard W25Q64 chip. I wrote a driver for this chip and interfaced it to my mcu using standard SPI2. I can read /write data on this external flash without any issue.Next step is to create an external loader.I tried to create the external loader, initially I was getting "Error Parsing Fail" issue but then I added some padding bytes to my struct which resolved the problem.Now I can compile the external loader without any issue and I can use it to read data from address 0x0 using cubeProgrammer. I can read roughly 8192 bytes from starting address 0x0.However I cant write data into the memory using external loader. One thing to note that cubeProgrammer is not showing my memory size and my memory type is also appearing as unknown:This is my structure and its initialisation.   #define SECTOR_NUM 10 // Max Number of Sector types struct DeviceSectors { unsigne

Hi guysI try to iclude the CMSIS files into a project with a STM32F334. I followed this article (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-integrate-cmsis-dsp-libraries-on-a-stm32-project/ta-p/666790 ) but failed.The first difference is, that I do not have a folder "PrivateInclude" to copy from, so I just continued with the other two folders I found, "Include" and "Source".After adding the two paths in project settings - without adding any code for sure - I get some thousands of compiler errors. The first error messages are "unknown type name 'uint16_t' ". As we know, uint16_t is a type in standard integer library, I already included it successfully.So I assume there still something missing...but what? And how to get?Just to be sure, I want to use the controller functions, but I would like to have a general manual to solve such problems in the future (and maybe many other too).

How to convert Accuracy(ppm) to CALP&CALM values from Temperature-Accuracy graph from RTC Calibration by temperature ?

Hello Team, how can a simple core to core communication on the STM32H7 be implemented? We want to exchange 2kByte of data in bidirectional way between CM7 and CM4.Best regards,Jochen

The STM32WL5x Datasheet mentions the RX Sensitivity of the Radio Modem for both 2-FSK and LoRa modulation (see image below) but makes no mention of GFSK, GMSK or BPSKWhat are the receive sensitivity values for these modulation schemes?

Hi all,I own a STM32MP135F-DK board and  started to write a simple firmware on it based on RTX threads.I'd like to use USART1 port as simple terminal interface with the board.I chose USART1 cause it is present on CN8 connector (RX + TX) and cause the UART8 presents only TX pin.The code I wrote is:  void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void) { huart1.Instance = USART1; huart1.Init.BaudRate = 9600; huart1.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart1.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart1.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; huart1.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; huart1.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE; huart1.Init.OverSampling = UART_OVERSAMPLING_16; if (HAL_UART_Init(&huart1) != HAL_OK) { ASSERT(false); } }  and   if (uartHandle->Instance == USART1) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_MspInit 0 */ /* USER CODE END USART1_MspInit 0 */ /* USART1 clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_USART1_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOC_CLK_E

I am working on a project using the LPS28DFW pressure sensor to monitor depth in water (~1000mBar / 10m), the sensor has a max operating range of up to 4096 mBar limited by its 24 bit 2s compliment output. As far as I can tell the negative half of the output range is never used unless autozero functionality is used, so I was hoping to use this to offset the pressure by a large value (ideally -4096) to better utilise the output range of the 2s compliment 24 bit output.  I have ran into 2 issues with this; first the REF_P (L and H) registers are read only, so I can't set a fixed offset, second the differential output is only put into the normal output registers and not into the FIFO. Is there any way around this? I see there is also a one time programable offset although ideally we would have control over when to offset for the extra range so the autozero function would be better.

此时，程序初始化 （demoIni（）） 已经完成，进入 demoCycle（）;我发现 rfalSetAnalogConfig（（RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_POLL |RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_NFCV |RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_BITRATE_COMMON |RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_RX） ）;gNfcDev_tate 应该从 RFAL_NFC_STATE_POLL_TECHDETECT 变为 RFAL_NFC_STATE_LISTEN_TECHDETECT，但它却变成了 RFAL_NFC_STATE_NOTINIT。您能否建议如何解决这个问题。

Hi Team, We are using this STP24DP05 (24-bit constant current LED sink driver with output error detection) IC for a X*Y array of diodes to get high or low. The IC is interfaced with microcontroller using SDI pin of STP24DP05. We have some doubts kindly check- 1. How will the serial pin data transfers to  outputs R/G/B pin? does R1 , G1 & B1 gets data first then it goes to next R2,G2,B2? or it will first give data to R1-R8 then to next 8 bits goes to G1-G8 like that.  2. Is LE/DM pin working as reset to all the pins? does the outputs of STP24DP05 gets refreshed when LE/DM is pulled down? 3. Can we keep OE pins as grounded ?

I manually placed the sw_codec folder inside the middleware as follows.Then I included the folder with library.but I'm get a error undefined reference to "error" How to solved?

Hi all,I am using UART4 in STM32F205 connected to an external device with an RS485-Transceiver (sn65hvd75).When I transmit data (HAL_UART_Transmit_IT) I set the TXEN pin high in RS485-Transceiver and when I get a callback  using HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback, I reset the TXEN pin to receive the data, It works fine in lower baudrates(9600), but at higher baudrate(115200) the response from external device gets corrupted because the TXEN has not been resetted before we start receiving data.Does anyone know whether there is delay in HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback or is there any other way to make sure the transmit is complete (to reset the TXEN pin)?

Hi.I did "HSE on-board oscillator from X3 crystal (not provided)" on um1974-stm32.But stlink doesn't recognize my board. Why?I used an ats49 8Mhz 18pF crystal since there is no recommended crystal. C37 and C38 have 18pF attached.  HSE on-board oscillator from X3 crystal (not provided)– SB148 and SB163 OFF– SB8 and SB9 ON– C37 and C38 soldered with 4.3 pF capacitors– SB112 and SB149 OFF

I can't seem to get any of the samples to connect using the ST BLE Toolbox or ST BLE Sensor applications.  Here's what I have:Uploaded the latest BLE full stack:Uploaded the BLE_HeartRate_reference.hex file:Disconnect/Connected the USB cable to Nucleo board and launched both BLE applications on an IPhone X.  Neither application finds the Nucleo board.  Bluetooth is enabled on the phone.  I've tried both USB ports on the Nucleo board just to be thorough.I also tried building the sample apps in STM32CubeIde with the same results.  One thing I noticed, after the application has been pushed to the Nucleo board, the debugger loses connection for some reason.  Haven't seen that before with other boards so don't know if that's expected behavior or not.Is there something else I'm missing?  This should work, right?  I've tried other samples with the same result.Kindest regards

Hi all, for the past few days i've been struggling to make this jump work as it refuses to communicate after the jump is initiated.Below you can find the code i'm using to try and make the jump, perhaps the order how things are de-initialised and initialised is to blame but i tried to follow the order as per the diagram in the AN2606 doc.As a boot patter i've selected the highlighted pattern in the screenshot below:The communication diagram can be simplified to the following:RECEIVERSENDERSTM32U585 ( USART2)ESP32-S3 (USART1)  Here's the function that supposedly should perform the jump into bootloader form application (this code runs on the STM32U585CIU6): UART_HandleTypeDef huart2; void jumpToBootloader() { void (*SysMemBootJump)(void); volatile uint32_t addr = 0x0BF90000; HAL_RCC_DeInit(); SysTick->CTRL = 0; SysTick->LOAD = 0; SysTick->VAL = 0; __disable_irq(); HAL_DeInit(); // Enable the USART2 clock __HAL_RCC_USART2_CLK_ENABLE(); // Enab

wrote a basic test for ltdc and if i change any of the ltdc registers and pause the debug it crashes heres the functions for the ltdc ive wrote  void ltdc_gpio_init(void){ //GPIO B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K Clock Access RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<1);//PORTB RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<2);//PORTC RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<3);//PORTD RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<4);//PORTE RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<5);//PORTF RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<6);//PORTG RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<7);//PORTH RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<8);//PORTI RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<9);//PORTJ RCC->AHB4ENR |= (1U<<10);//PORTK //MODE GPIOB->MODER |= (1U<<3);//PB1 AF MODE GPIOB->MODER &=~(1U<<2); GPIOC->MODER |= (1U<<1);//PC0 AF MODE GPIOC->MODER &=~(1U<<0); GPIOD->MODER |= (1U<<13);//PD6 AF MODE GPIOD->MODER &=~(1U<<12); GPIOE->MODER |= (1U<<9);//PE4 AF MODE GPIOE->MODER &=~(1U<&

Hello,I am fairly new to STM32 (and ARM MCUs in general), and I need a bit of help with DMA/MDMA transfers.I am using an STM32H747 dual core MCU and I intent to do some high-speed data sampling on the ADC (currently ~3 MSPS, going to 7-ish MSPS in the future) and process the data in the M7 core. Currently all peripheral configuration, communication etc. is done on the M4 core in order to keep the M7 free for signal processing.Basically, I am getting 64 data samples from the ADC (clocked by a free-running timer) and whenever at 64 sample (128 byte) chunk is ready, I want to move the data into DTCM and trigger the processing on the M7 core using inter-core interrupts. The processing runs in parallel with the ADC getting the next 64 samples.When data processing has completed, the resulting data should be placed back into SRAM (Accessible for the M4 core) for sending out over USART/whatever. My current solution samples the input signal but moves it into shared SRAM (ridiculously slow) befo

in the process of or at least i want to backup the mcu data and transfer it over to another mcu,  i can connect and see the mcu with my pe cyclone fx but when i read and dump the data i get a empty file 768kb.     S3150800000000000000000000000000000000000000E2S3150800001000000000000000000000000000000000D2S3150800002000000000000000000000000000000000C2S3150800003000000000000000000000000000000000B2S3150800004000000000000000000000000000000000A2S315080000500000000000000000000000000000000092S315080000600000000000000000000000000000000082S315080000700000000000000000000000000000000072S315080000800000000000000000000000000000000062S315080000900000000000000000000000000000000052S315080000A00000000000000000000000000000000042S315080000B00000000000000000000000000000000032S315080000C00000000000000000000000000000000022S315080000D00000000000000000000000000000000012S315080000E00000000000000000000000000000000002

good morning. i just finished my code that makes a led blink. i pinned it on the GUI and wrote the code on the main. before flashing it i want to know what is the problem of my pin: it is written that the symbol can not be resolved even thougt there is no error when i build the code. however, there is an error logo next to my project moreover. i want to know if i can get real tutorials and samples on basics of SPC: use of registers, interruptions, ports... i searched a lot and only got the 8 part videos on Autoddevkit. searching on this forum i saw that other people are struggling finding low level examples to really understand spc5

HiI own a STM32F469-Discovery Board bought in 2021. There seem to be (at least) two revisions of that board, "B" & "C" and maybe "A". Under "CAD Resources" are just schematics for Revision "B" and "C".If I try to run the supplied example for that board, for example "LCD_DSI_VideoMode_SingleBuffer" I have to choose correct Revision in the code.Revision "B" seems to work good, "A" not so perfect (flickering) and "C" totally scrambled display... So I assume that I have Revision "B" board.But if I now look into the schematic of board revision "B" I see there is SDRAM "MICRON MT48LC4M32B2B5-6A" installed. But if I inspect my board there is clearly a "ISSI IS42S32400F" BGA chip installed. In the schematic of revision "C" instead is drawn the same "ISSI IS42S32400F".Now I am confused.Can you please enlighten me?

When renaming a project in the project tree view it seems one can rename the project itself but not the directory it initially had been created in.I have a project "myfirst1", renamed it to "myfirst" with all references. In the treeview one can see that it has been renamed, but there is still marked like:myfirst (in myfirst1)Trying to rename myfirst1 to myfirst behind the curtain leads to things getting messed up.How can I achieve this cleanly, so that "in myfirst1" disappears and the project is located in directory "first" in the filesystem?

I am trying to toggle PB6 gpio at 10MHz on the nucleo board. I am trying to use timers to do this. Using LL library with full optimization and 250MHz system clock rate. I was able to get 3.5MHz ish. With timer 1 prescaler and divider being 0. Please help me understand how/if possible to reach 10MHz gpio toggle rate.

Good Afternoon Sir/Mam, We are Engineering Students. We have a PCB Design and I want to get it manufactured. We want it's single piece for our Prototype Development and Testing, once our Prototype completes the requirement criteria, we will order it in bulk.So, it would be very helpful if you could tell us, if you also manufactures the customized PCB. Thanking You,ANKUR.

Hello, I have a quick question. I'm wondering if I can put the frame buffer in SDRAM connected via FMC when I use FMC LCD controller to controll Display that uses the same address pins of FMC.

Hi,When trying to connect the board via ST-link in CubeProgrammer i get the error: "No STM32 target found!..."; can't figure out what problem is preventing ST-link from finding the target.BlackPill is working properly, i can use it via DFU, but I would like to use debug.I tested the ST-link dongle with a NUCLEOF303RET6 and it works fine.Then i tried using the onboard ST-link of the NUCLEO to connect the BlackPill (with the correct configuration) and had the same problem; so i think the problem may be in the BlackPill (could it be an incorrect code in the identification registers?).I also tried different bootloaders, although i don't think they can make a difference in this case.Board: WeAct BlackPill V3.0, MCU: F411CEU6 (original), SWDIO and SWCLK correctly configured on pins PA13 and PA14 (SWD configuration), target voltage 3.28V.ST-link: V2 dongle, MCU: F103C8T6 (original), tried with reset pin connected, tried with various firmware versions (now v2J45S7).CubeProgrammer: no mode
