Making a port from F334 to G474 controller, used CubeMx 5.3 to do 1 PWM using HRTIM CHA 50% duty as a test and got a this error during compile.

We have designed a a custom PCB with a custom antenna using ST25R95 NFC Tag reader, also the antenna tuning has been done. We found an issue during our testing, at our production site the tags are not getting detected but the same PCBs are working fine in our office. We have observed that the AC mains supply is stable at both locations but the mains frequency isn’t stable at the production site. We are using a standard power adapter with input rating 110-240V 50/60Hz Output 5V 4A. Can the mains frequency variation lead to NFC chip not reading tags or it has to do something with the environment (EMI)? Also the DC voltage on the ST_R0 Pin is around 7.8V in both the environments (office as well as production site) indicating that the RF field is on if I'm not mistaken.

Do someone know how that we can import the Arduino string object in Cube IDE or how that i can make such object myself? I can't find any files about the construction of such object in arduino files(on my computer).

I am using STM32H743Bit6.Checking GPIO maximum frequency.Among them, in output mode 11, the maximum frequency of 220Mhz was confirmed in the third environment. What does the 'c' in conditions mean where?

I am using STM32H743Bit6.#define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW     (0x00000000U) /*!< Low speed   */#define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_MEDIUM   (0x00000001U) /*!< Medium speed */#define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH    (0x00000002U) /*!< Fast speed  */#define GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_VERY_HIGH  (0x00000003U) /*!< High speed  */I would like to know the maximum frequency of each.And is it possible to measure the system clock 400Mhz from the MCO2 pin output terminal?

I'm using a NUCLEO-WB55RG board and if I create a new project in STM32CubeIDE 1.12.0 and enable the STM32_WPAN and HeartRate example it doesn't work because the different buffers that need to be in SRAM2 is not placed there.The app_entry.c defines these buffers like this:PLACE_IN_SECTION("MB_MEM2") ALIGN(4) static uint8_t EvtPool[POOL_SIZE]; PLACE_IN_SECTION("MB_MEM2") ALIGN(4) static TL_CmdPacket_t SystemCmdBuffer; PLACE_IN_SECTION("MB_MEM2") ALIGN(4) static uint8_t SystemSpareEvtBuffer[sizeof(TL_PacketHeader_t) + TL_EVT_HDR_SIZE + 255U]; PLACE_IN_SECTION("MB_MEM2") ALIGN(4) static uint8_t BleSpareEvtBuffer[sizeof(TL_PacketHeader_t) + TL_EVT_HDR_SIZE + 255];The automatically generated linker script contains the following, which ends up placing the buffers in RAM1 if I look at the address at runtime using the debugger./* Specify the memory areas */ MEMORY { FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 512K RAM1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000008, LENGTH = 0x2FFF8 RAM_SHARED (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x2

I have tried following some online tutorials for Memory Protection Unit (MPU) setup, but I do not see the option for the `CORTEX-M4` in the STM32CubeMX window.

Hello.I'm using the lastest version of STM32CubeIDE, 1.12.1.The problem occurs after configuring al the STM32CubeMX perifereals and I try to build the project so it generates al the files that I need. But when I press the yellow wheel icon, the project doesn't generates well, it leaves MXTmpFiles in the project list of files, like you can see in the first image: After that, if I try to click on any peripheral to configure it, I can't, the click doesn't work.Sometimes if I click many times on the wheel it deletes the MXTmpFiles folder and compile the project, but it's not deterministic, it can occur the first time or the fifth (or sometimes never).I tried to delete and re install the program but it didn't work, it still happens, in all my projects. Is it a kind of bug or is there something that I'm missing?

Hi all--I am working on a project using the STM32WB55. I would like to distribute an "official" firmware, but also allow third-party firmware to be installed. The intent is that the official firmware will be open source, so users can make changes to the official firmware and upload their own firmware to the device. The catch is that the official firmware will include private keys (not part of the open source distribution, obviously) used for signing its output, so that users can verify that the output was produced by the official firmware, as opposed to a third-party firmware. This means:The official firmware should be encrypted, and X-CUBE-SBSFU will need to have the ability to decrypt that firmware.Users should not have access (either through JTAG or through third-party firmware) to the keys required to decrypt the official firmware, or to the decrypted official firmware itself.I think X-CUBE-SBSFU will allow me to do this with a little modification, but I wanted to get a second opini

I am using a custom board equipped with an STM32G473 controller and use ST LINK V2 .Recently, I decided to explore the usage of CubeMonitor for the first time. While the YouTube videos I watched provided clear instructions, none of them mentioned any potential issues that might arise during the process. However, I encountered a problem where STM32CubeMonitor displays an error message stating "Device not found." Strangely, I can communicate with the board perfectly fine using STM32CubeIDEI am curious as to why I am experiencing this issue and what steps I can take to resolve it.Settings in IDEThese are the lines that are connected between STLINK and board I attempted to close STM32CubeIDE before launching Dashboard to ensure that the connection is not being used by any other application. Unfortunately, this approach did not resolve the issue.Additionally, I double-checked that I selected the SWD (Serial Wire Debug) mode in CubeMonitor, but this did not provide a solution either. Now

I am developing a project to take some measurements with ADC channels, however the values are wrong. When I connect any ADC channel direct to GND, it gives me a value about 60~80 (The ADCs are 12-bit precision) and this error propagates for any reading. How should I solve this problem? Could be any PCB layout noise or is it a problem with ADC reference?

I cant find a product finder on the site. With google i cant only find apps. Anyone knows where it is? Mouser is not help either. I would like to look for uC with CAN bus.

We are using I2C of SPC56EC64 MCU to communicate with bq25798 battery charger IC.Communication is successfully done and we are also getting data from Charger. But whenever we do software reset of SPC56 MCU using below line of code mcu stuck in reset mode and it's RESET pin remains low. asm volatile ("wrteei 0" : : : "memory"); ME.IS.R = 5; ME.MCTL.R = 0x00005AF0; ME.MCTL.R = 0x0000A50F;Also before doing rest i deinit i2c module too using below code. i2c_lld_stop(); i2c_lld_deinit();We use bootloader also with this application. So i have configures I2C module in bootloader code also but whenever we do software reset MCU stuck in RESET.So it would be helpful if anyone could guide on this.#[SPC5 Automotive MCUs] @Erwan YVIN

Im using Scrollwheels on different screens. Wherever I move the selected Item to the middle of the list by increasing the SelectedItemOffset, Items above the selected Item (middle of the list) tend to disappear. As soon as I activate the Circular mode, everything runs fine.Does anyone else had similiar behaviour? I tried to provoke this with the very similar ScrollWheel/List example, but there it is running fine.I'm using the current TouchGFX 4.20.

Hi All,I have implemented EEPROM Emul Middleware in STM32WL project (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an4894-eeprom-emulation-techniques-and-software-for-stm32-microcontrollers-stmicroelectronics.pdf) in lieu of writing directly in FLASH the NVM Lorawan Context Structure.LorawanEndNode example store the NVM Lorawan Context Structure in FLASH, directly as follow( function OnStoreContextRequest in lora_app.c):if (FLASH_IF_Erase(LORAWAN_NVM_BASE_ADDRESS, FLASH_PAGE_SIZE) == FLASH_IF_OK) { FLASH_IF_Write(LORAWAN_NVM_BASE_ADDRESS, (const void *)nvm, nvm_size); }I changed this function to my own function using EEPROM Emul //store nvm in eeprom writeNVMContext_EEPROMemul ((const void *)nvm, nvm_size);And something similar to restore the context. It is working properly as desired: I store the NVM lorawan context every Uplink/Downlink message. This works for my OTAA session is always ok after poweron/off or hard resets.Save lifetime of FLASH in this case of use:EEPROM Emul: E

I am following this video link showing step by step to create OTA app.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRzZOa3jmuM.I am successfully to create the custom application, download the OTA loader app at 0x08000000, and the custom's app at 0x08007000. The problem I am facing is whenever I sent some data to OTA Reboot characteristic, the custom app is just reset, then go back to the custom app. It didn't enter the OTA loader app. Am I missing something like the erase current app function? I also notice in my custom app, once the ST BLE tool box or ST BLE Sensor app connects to my device, it didn't show the OTA reboot option like when I tried the BLE_p2pServer_ota.

Hello All, We have been stuck with this particular issue for more than a month. For STM32H745, we have enabled only cortex M7 and it has freertos with some logic using a math library. The code runs for some time (between 30 minutes and 2 hour) and gets a hard fault.Looking at debugger it states that a "new" operation was called and it failed due to out of memory. We use __heapstats() in a background task which runs every one second. It doesn't show any leak in the memory as the free heap remains the same.Has anyone faced similar issues?Any pointers is deeply appreciated.

Hi,try setup clock above 200 Mhz (try for revision Y and V) and get error: Error has occured also if you try set D1PRE set above 200 Mhz:

I'm using a mutex to share the I2C bus between an OLED display and an EEPROM. I'm using the IDE to generate the FreeRTOS configuration and tasks initialization (freertos.c file). I have an external file where all the LCD writing occurs. How could I access the mutexes handle generated on freertos.c file from this other file?...   /* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Variables */   /* USER CODE END Variables */ /* Definitions for defaultTask */ osThreadId_t defaultTaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t defaultTask_attributes = { .name = "defaultTask", .stack_size = 128 * 4, .priority = (osPriority_t) osPriorityNormal, }; /* Definitions for modbusTask */ osThreadId_t modbusTaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t modbusTask_attributes = { .name = "modbusTask", .stack_size = 64 * 4, .priority = (osPriority_t) osPriorityNormal, }; /* Definitions for dispTask */ osThreadId_t dispTaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t dispTask_attribu

As the radio equipment standards are very important for entering EU, CN, and USA markets, could you help to communicate with the supplier to provide the information about the standards that must be confirmed as the radio equipment? Such as EN 301489-1.Thanks a lot for the supportIdan A.

Hello everyone! Sorry for a dumb question - I am a piano major. I want to squeeze extra 2-3 bits of the built in DAC and so I have heard that it was possible to increase a DAC resolution by adding jitter. Could please anyone share a link to some not-too-difficult article that explains how to do that and how it works?Thank you!
