Hi all, I am looking for a list of resources (peripherals, memory, etc) that are required by the STM32_WPAN stack implementation for the STM32WBA52. I previously used the STM32WB55 and e.g. AN5289 lists which peripherals are shared with the M0/BLE core. Where can I find such information ?   Note: some clues are given in the "BLE_SerialCom_Peripheral" example for the STM32WBA52, by looking at the implementation of the "platform specific" functions required by the STM32_WPAN libraries (LinkLayer_BLE_Full_lib.a and stm32wba_ble_stack_full.a are included in the example project).   Thanks in advance.   Best regards, Jeroen

I use a STM32F7508-DK as a USB-Device only as MSC with an SDCard. The Board is self powered.STM says to use VBUS sensing on self powered Devices. But with VBUS sensing enabled, the USB connection isn't registered and the USB connection doesn't work at all.Without VBUS sensing, the USB-Device connects and gets in to configured State. Data from the SDCard can be seen on PC and copied etc.But after disconnecting the hUsbDeviceFS.dev_state shortly turns to suspended State but immediately turns back to Configured State. The USB Suspended State Register ((USB_OTG_DeviceTypeDef *) (USB_OTG_FS_PERIPH_BASE+USB_OTG_DEVICE_BASE))->DSTSdoes not get set to 1How do i ge the VBUS sensing working on the STM32F7508-DK?THX for helping!

I want to connect four SATEL-53L7CX ToF sensors to a Jetson Orin Nx with an AVerMedia D131 carrier board. The board has a 40-pin expansion header with two i2c buses.I have created a wiring diagram to connect every two sensors to each i2c bus. Each sensor shares SDA and SCL with another sensor connected to the same bus, AVDD and IOVDD are connected to the Jetson with 5V and 3.3V pins respectively, the other pins of the two sensors (LPn, PWR_EN, I2C_RST) are connected to different GPIOs. Steps:I connect one sensor, then change the i2c address using set_i2c_address() and get the measurements. But when I connect the second sensor to the same bus, the line immediately stops seeing any connected sensors, even though the two sensors already have different addresses — modified 0x38 and default 0x52). Please, could you share thoughts on how to connect four ToF sensors to two i2c buses on Jetson? Thanks in advance. I will be very grateful to you!

Hi ST community, First question for me here.... It is about an emulated eeprom issue   I try to save dta to an emulated eeprom. Parameter are : starting dress : 0x800D00 page size 0x800 number of variable to be saved 37 guard page number =2 cycle life =1   I do manage to save and read from eeprom however, after a while (let's say between 500 and 1000 saving operations, the eeprom comes into the loop below and don't mnage to get out...   Would somebody knows why ? I assume my parameters are wrong but I can't figure it out ...     Thanks ,   Tjhe loop that blocks ... pageadress takes the value 28 27 26 and then back to 28.   while ((pagestate == STATE_PAGE_ACTIVE) || (pagestate == STATE_PAGE_VALID) || (pagestate == STATE_PAGE_ERASING))  {   /* Set counter index to last element position in the page */   counter = PAGE_SIZE - EE_ELEMENT_SIZE;     /* Check each page address starting from end */   while (cou

I configured ADC1 in CubeMX for a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q board. When testing my application HAL_ADC_Enable(); returned error, RDYFLAG was not set after the timeout. When comparing my configuration to an example I discovered that HAL_PWREx_EnableVddA(); is not called in SystemPower_Config();. The issue got resolved with enabling vdda. I wonder if this is a code generation bug or I made some mistakes during configuration.

Hello, I am running STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.12.1 on Ubuntu 22.04. I am using a NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q board. Is it possible or reasonable to expect that I should be able to configure the Make tool chain using the STM32CubeIDE instead of the default STMCubeIDE tool chain? I also tried using STMCubeMX standalone but the Make options seem to be grayed out/inactive. I found AN5361 helpful for getting started but have not come across perhaps some deeper dive documents for Dual Core project setup.

hi,all My device is STM32F072,and connect to Host. I want to identify the Host support speed( Full-Speed or High-Speed ).Is there any register/fuction ，can detect Host is Full-Speed or High-Speed HAL VERSION: STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.11.4

Since when is STM32L152RE LQFP64 NRND?From the looks best pin compile etc. would be STM32L552RE is there any overview for doing this transition. Else I would need to do detail compare my self but as these MCUs seem to be in one line I was hoping there is some documentation to help with the design decision I have to make right now.THANSK

I have a design with an STM32F415 MCU which has two I2C-peripherals: a CAT24AA16 serial EEPROM and a TSC2007 touch screen controller on the same I2C bus. I2C setup is standard as generated by CubeMX. I find that 90% of the time the system starts up OK with both peripherals working fine, but in the other 10% the system starts up with always both peripherals seemingly not working and HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady giving HAL_ERROR as result on both peripherals. Usually giving one or more system resets on the MCU (without power-cycling the whole PCB) solves the problem which leads me to believe that it's not the peripherals that are in some wrong state but something within the MCU is. Giving the statistical nature of the problem, it could perhaps be a register or variable which is not initialised properly and has an undefined power-up state.Has anyone experienced this and/or has any tips where to look for a solution?

Hi,I'm currently moving a project from STM32F446 to an STM32F411CEU and stumble upon some strange things in the wiring which is not known from the F446.So from the manual it is not clear to me how to deal with the VCAP_1 and PA0-WKUP inputs. So my question: is there some documentation/schematic available that shows the minimal wiring of the 48-pin F411? I know there are some eval-boards out there but their schematics are far away from being "minimal".Thanks!

Hello,While I was tracking an issue on I2C bus, I found something that seems to be unconsistent in HAL file stm32l4_hal_i2c.c1 - routines I2C_WaitOn_____UntilTimeout() are called after locking the bus with __HAL_LOCK(hi2c) macro2- these routines update the lock state in case of error, return and this error to the caller finaly the HAL ends. The caller in that case (error) do not update lock state which is updated by I2C_WaitOn_____UntilTimeout() (=unlock before returning error)but I found that all path do not update the lock state. for example below the first error do not unlock the bus :static HAL_StatusTypeDef I2C_WaitOnSTOPFlagUntilTimeout(I2C_HandleTypeDef *hi2c, uint32_t Timeout,                            uint32_t Tickstart){ while (__HAL_I2C_GET_FLAG(hi2c, I2C_FLAG_STOPF) == RESET) {  /* Check if an error is detected */&n

Using the STM32MP157 development kit, I have configured two "GPIO Analog" lines that are exposed through CN13 (pins 1 and 2).I am trying to set these up as such. From going down the rabbit trail of documentation:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/GPIO_internal_peripheral#Software_frameworkshttps://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/GPIOLib_overviewand then:https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/Overview_of_GPIO_pinshttps://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/Pinctrl_overviewIt seems to confirm that I need to use "pinctrl" technique to set these. Okay. I have configured them with CubeMX. However, my DTS file doesn't reference these pins at all. I've gone through the exported DTS and I do not see anything referencing PG3, or PH6.So, I feel like this has failed at the outset. Is there a trick to this? I assume once I get these configured I can read the value using libgpio API functions.

Uart communication did not work in the existing project file. There may be other interference, so I created a new project and wrote only Uart, but it is the same. The input of the signal to the RX pin is confirmed by the oscilloscope, but it does not work. Also, the TX pin remains high.It doesn't seem to have anything special, but it doesn't work at all, so I'm at a loss as to what to do.///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////Main.c#include "main.h"/* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*//* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */#include <stdio.h>/* USER CODE END Includes *//* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*//* USER CODE BEGIN PTD *//* USER CODE END PTD *//* Private define ------------------------------------------------------------*//* USER CODE BEGIN PD *//* USER CODE END PD *//* Private macro ---------------------------------

Hello Support Team,Good day,we are working on the Code Isolation activities on the STM32U585ZIT6Q controllerWhile creating sample code with enabled trust zone, It is divided into the two-part, a. Secure code, It has own while loop but before that, control is transferred to the Non-Secure code through "NonSecure_Init()" b. Non-Secure code, It will run after the secure control is transferred to the non-secure code through the "NonSecure_Init()" call in secure We have some of the queries as per below, As per the sample code, Secure fw does not performing any operation inside the while() loop and all operations take care of in the non-secure while() loop, 1. Can we write a code in a while () loop in the Secure firmware?  2. Can we change the state of the control of the operation access like secure and nonsecure code execution at any point of time? ex. Non-secure code performing in data collection operation and after some time we have to perform the separate code execution which

Hi, I would like to design speed controller for electric skateboard, since this is target to end user market, therefore most of the end users may not know their motor's parameter such as Rs, Ls_d, Ls_q etc., My question is does ST has API or method for developer to check motor parameter like windows based MOTOR PROFILER tools ? regards,Danny

Whenever I detect boards, the software tells me it needs to update the firmware on the target. Then it pops up a dialog that says it is checking ST-Link connection. However, it says in this state forever without error or progress. How can I either install the fw it wants ahead of time or convince it that the connection is fine?

HiI follow the MOOC tutorial for create the external QSPI loader, my Flash memory is MT25QL128ABB.The flash is writed but the memory test Fail, with debug inspect there is 1 byte shift from start 0x90000000 (currect 00 01 02 ecc) I read (01 02 03).I don't know were is the problem , some parameters of flash ?

I have a project where a sensor of mine reads a frequency value of 7 digits (5000000 for example) and is sent to a ATTiny414. I want to write this data on to the ANT7-T-ST25DV04K through I2C. I can't use the STMDuino library as the microcontroller holds only 4K program memory. I have tried writing to I2C address 0xA6 for writing to slave memory. But that does not seem to work.

I am in search of the 433MHz MCU for my new application, can someone help me with which MCU is offered by STM for the 433MHz RF application?Regards,Jay Kacha

How to select gain in STM32H743 ADC? I looked up all the configurations/parameters but don't see how can I amplify (select gain) for input channel? I want to measure current which is mV signal.

I created STM32CubeMX project (.ioc) on my old Windows 10 computer, GENERATE CODE worked without any issues, and after a certain time I copy .ioc file on my new Windows 11 computer (fresh install of STM32CubeMX). When I press GENERATE CODE, IDE is freezing in the stage: Copying libraries files... and the only way how I can close IDE is over Task Manager by End process. In the log file, this is the last records:2023-05-16 11:08:53,297 [INFO] ProjectBuilder:2996 - Time for Copy HAL[0] : 127mS.2023-05-16 11:08:53,308 [INFO] ProjectBuilder:4304 - Project Generator version: 3.19.22023-05-16 11:08:53,406 [INFO] ConfigFileManager:1483 - The Die is : DIE4622023-05-16 11:08:53,410 [INFO] ApiDbMcu:507 - Load IP Config File for TOUCHSENSING2023-05-16 11:08:53,621 [ERROR] GenerateProjectThread:93 - javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\ (The system cannot find the path specified)I have currently two projects and both behave the same.Patrik

Hello,I'm working on a custom application with a board with a previous Firmware (V3.1.0) that works well. I have a 2nd board with the newest Firmware version(V3.2.1.0) that does not work with it. Any way to have access to a previous firmware V3.1.0.0?

How to simply use firmware for custom project? Which functions are necessary to scan tags? Example in gen2.h requires almost all files included in the project, which creates many errors when compiling. P.S. I have successfully read chip version, so write/read commands work.
