I am build an andriod app, device is using ST25DV04K NFC chipi should read first 256 bytes using commnad 0x02,0x23,0x00,0x3fbut failed to read last 256 bytesI try 2 commands:send 0x02,0x23,0x40,0x7f,respone:0x01,0x0fsend 0x02,0x33,0x40,0x00,0x7f,0x00,respone:0x01,0x0fhow to read last 256 bytes?Thank you

I have been reading reading anything i could find on Timers, but I'm still confused about the setup in CubeMx.I just want to trigger a timer in software, that generates a SINGLE pulse with a set width (and if possible after a set dely) on a pin, but the CubeMx configuration is incredibly badly documented and pretty confusing, if you don't already know what you are doing.can someone please point me in the right direction? Also please don't post a bunch of register setups and then say "I don't use CubeMx", that's not what i am asking, and I have seen it on so many forum posts.

Hello Geeks...Hope all are doing wellRecently, I'm working on STM32WB FUOTAI know the FUOTA terminology of the STM32WB through the application document AN5247Moreover, I have gone through the YouTube Tutorial series of the FUOTA for WB seriesI'm trying to update my application over FUOTA but, some how it's verification always fails and it's rollover to BLE OTA loader app!here are the steps which I'm followingUpdated the linker script as per the "BLE_HeartRate_ota" example commented SCB->VTOR from system_stm32wbxx.c file BLE_CFG_OTA_REBOOT_CHAR set to 1 in ble_conf.hAdded the OTA reboot characteristic (which is working well, and MCU able to reboot during the OTA request) Flashed "BLE_Ota" Firmware starting from 0x08000000 flash memory location Flashed the main application Firmware with OTA enable char. starting from 0x08007000 flash memory location Verified the MagicKeywordAddress address 0x08007140Problem statements & Test procedure 1. Application firmware seems work

Reason for asking is that I need to determine which it is as I would like to make use of the ROI capability of the VL53L1 and my understanding is this is not supported by the VL53L0 range. I have the SATEL eval boards, but can for the life of me not remember which one it is as I bought it quite a long time ago. Thanks in advance!Friedl

Hi, I would like to set all 8 pins in port Z to unsecure so i use these pins as other ports. I read data sheet portz is set to secure mode as default after reset. And I tried write into it and system crashed. Thanks

Hi, I'm trying to start a research project using B-G431B-ESC1 and some BLDC motor. I am trying to measure the models of the motor using ST Motor Profiler. However, after connecting the esc to the PC using USB - micro USB cable, it continuously fails to profile the motor.Any suggestions would be helpful. Here's where I'm stuck at.

We have a product(PCB) in mass production as using VL53L0X.There is a problem with some of our products. We tested before sending customer. There is no problem. But, over time we have received complaints from customers. In this case, We can't communicate with VL53L0X.I want inspection report from the soldering company. Can anyone explain and comment on the report? What is the meaning of gray circle that mentioned with red marked? Why are some small and some big? Could the problem I'm having be because of soldering?I attached full report as a google drive link.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TuGtgAzskEg01juk0zyNGUpHgvrcmMKi/view?usp=sharing

I'm using an STM32F779 on a known working custom board connected to an EMMC chip (8 wide). I'm using the SDMMC2 peripheral with a DMA channel for Rx as well as Tx and the SDMMC interrupt enabled. My application has two modes, in the first I log data and in the presence of USB it acts as a MSD. When connected via USB the host computer reads out blocks and interprets the file system correctly. However, after some period the SDMMC2 - DATA_TIMEOUT interrupt occurs when it shouldn't and breaks the system (DMA_TX is zeroed and then eventually a hard fault occurs). The DCTRL register does not self clear after a transaction but is cleared at the beginning of a new read or write. This implies that as long as a read/write is performed at least once before the timer expires there is no issue.

I have a question, I don't know if 3911 in the image below is jtag download code or SWD.

what's the dimension of STM32F746IEK6. Especially for thickness, is there any tolerance ?

Hi, I have an ELF file modified to write to the main memory address 0x08004000 instead of 0x08000000. Please find the screenshot below and the ELF file in the attachment. But instead of writing to 0x08004000 it constantly writes to 0x08000000. Why is this happening?

I have a custom board with the l452cc controller. I am trying to run an sd card with fatfs through spi. I have generated cubemx fatfs files, but there is no interface layer for spi to fatfs. Are there some examples I can reference off of, or what is the best way to approach this? Thanks.

Edit: It's always embarrassing when you ask a question and immediately afterwards you find what you where looking for...Please ignore this question.---Original question: I'm starting to work with the STM32WB5MM-DK, but I can't find the schematics. Are they not available yet?For some first visual feedback I wanted to use the RGB LED, but the user manual of the DK says: "In this configuration, GPIO_SELECT2 (PH1) is the chip select for this RGB device on SPI1.The RGB LED is driven by the TLC59731 PWM LED driver from Texas Instruments."Unfortunately theTLC59731 doesn't have a chip select. And the data protocol is not SPI, but some weird "EasySet" single wire interface. So I would like to check the board schematics, to understand how the TLC chip is wired to the STM.

Does the SPC560 can program in appilication (IAP) ?How CAN I do to implement the user bootloader? Is there any document about it? and the Chip has the BAM, is it means that ,I can user the factory bootloader to update the program via usart or FlexCan? Is there any document about the factory bootloader protocol , and the windows dll or the APP?

When developing touchGFX applications you tend to get a pretty high memory need.I'm working with the CubeIDE integration of TouchGFX and tried to add a third screen (with a third background image). I got an error saying that the application would not fit in my FLASH. After a bit of digging it seems that the linker files don't mention the QSPI at all. I can add that to the linker files but I would like to know if there is an official way of doing this?I found some documentation on this but I'm not sure if this is the right way to go about it.What goes where in the memory and how do I control it? if at all? Thanks!

We have a flutter application that is connecting to the ST BLE sensor chip via native bluetooth. We listen to the mems, pressure, accelerometer, and sensor fusion sensors to save to 4 files on the app. The ST SDK was giving us the observed blocking of pressure sensor so we switched to Native bluetooth in hopes it was just an SDK issue, but seeing same issues with bluetooth. When the pressure sensor is being listened to, only audio + pressure data is received. the other 2 sensors have nothing. When disable listening to pressure, the other 2 sensors + audio receive data.We have put breakpoints for where we write data from the 3 sensors, and with pressure sensor not active, we can see the data being saved, but when enabled, it only fires on the pressure sensor write to csv function and the other 2 are never triggered. It appears that the pressure sensor does not allow for interrupts and is operating in a sync mode when it comes to the other sensors. This is proved by only listening to the oth

Hello all, I have a very strange problem with Debugging. I am using a STM32H723xx microcontroller for my project. I have some debuggers like ULINK ME, ULINK2, JLINK, ST-LINKV2 and V3. All debuggers show the same issue.I access the external SRAM via FMC as shown below:volatile __attribute__((at(0x60000000))) SRAM_DATA sram ;   [...] SRAM_DATA lram; sram_to_ram ( &lram, &sram, sizeof( SRAM_DATA ) ); [...]   static __inline void sram_to_ram ( uint16_t *dst, volatile uint16_t *src, uint32_t size) { while ( size-- ) { *dst++ = *src++; } __ISB(); __DSB(); }The access probably works. I have no problems here. The function is called in the interrupt context. It can block for up to 100 µs. The cache is active, so I used __ISB() and __DSB(). The MPU settings of the SRAM are set correctly.I am using Keil V5 IDE for this project. When the above code is in my code, after a few seconds I get the following message: "Debugger - Cortex-M Error - Cannot access

Hello,This is my first post to this forum.I've been trying for several days to configure a project with TouchGFX and STM32CubeMX. First, I want to thank you all for all your message I found on this forum and which helped me.Initially, I wanted to use STM32CubeIDE & TouchGFX but I realized very quickly that it is nearly impossible for now.So, I tried with Atollic TrueStudio. I succeeded in getting rid of compilation errors and having my GUI on my STM32F746 DISCO except that the touchscreen didn't work. I'm stuck here and I will maybe open an other post to find a solution about it (I can post my project if you want)I don't want to lose more time so I'm asking here: in your opinion, on which IDE is it the easiest to configure a new project?I can't pay for an IDE and I would prefer to use Atollic TrueStudio or STM32CubeIDE because I wanted to stay as close as possible from the ST "universe". SW4STM32 is simplier to configure than Atollic TrueStudio?I'm using a STM32F746 disco and STM32

Hello, I have a custom board with a SMT32L031F6P6 on it: PA2 and PA3 USART2 channel seems not to work even if they are correctly set in the .ioc file.I have tried the same code on the NUCLEO-L031K6 board using VCP-TX and VCP-RX (PA2 e PA15) default pins and it works correctly, but if I move the UART pins to the Arduino-compatible ones, PA9 and PA10, it dosen't work anymore. What am I doing wrong? The UM1956 says that "Only one USART is available and it is shared between Arduino Nano and VCP. The selection is done by remapping (no hardware configuration to change)." but I think something is missing. This is the working code, in CubeIDE v.11.0:... #ifdef __GNUC__ /* With GCC, small printf (option LD Linker->Libraries->Small printf set to 'Yes') calls __io_putchar() */ #define PUTCHAR_PROTOTYPE int __io_putchar(int ch) #else #define PUTCHAR_PROTOTYPE int fputc(int ch, FILE *f) #endif /* __GNUC__ */ ... int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART2_U

I'm writing initialisation script.Project repo is cloned into my empty workspace. At the moment the user must initialy run STM32CubeIDE select empty workspaceCall File > Open Projects from File System ... > select Folder and confirmThis action is what I need to implent in my initialisation script. What would be apropriate command for it?

Hi,I am trying to set the GPO pin on a ST25DV based device from an Android app. I am using the following code:AndroidReaderInterface reader = AndroidReaderInterface.newInstance(mTag); try { ST25DVTag mTag = new ST25DVTag(reader, ((Type5Tag) mNFCTag).getUid()); byte response = mTag.manageGpoCommand(ST25DVTag.GpoCommand.SET, (byte)0x00); Log.i(TAG, "Response: " + Helper.convertByteToHexString(response)); } catch (STException | Exception e) { Log.w(TAG, "ManageGPO failed: " + e.getMessage()); }This is what we concluded so far:1. The NFC device really receive the command and set the GPO. We confirmed this with oscilloscope.2. We tested the app on 2 different Samsung phones and Xiaomi. The same code executed fine on one mobile phone but throws an exception on two others. What are we doing wrong? Many thanks in advance.

Hi all,Does anyone know if I can watch a past Online workshop called 'Easily add intelligence to your products'? I missed the scheduled one on the 4th April and would like to watch it if available.Thanks.
