I am trying to read ADC from two channels without using DMA. For that I use this code: /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */uint16_t ADC_VAL[2];void ADC_Select_CH1(void){    ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};     sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_0;    sConfig.Rank = ADC_REGULAR_RANK_1;    sConfig.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLETIME_1CYCLE_5;    if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig) != HAL_OK)    {      Error_Handler();    }}void ADC_Select_CH2(void){    ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};     sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_1;    sConfig.Rank = ADC_REGULAR_RANK_2;    if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig) != HAL_OK)    {      Error_Handler();    }}/* USER CODE END 0 *//**  * @brief  The application entry point.  * @retval int  */int main(void){  /* MCU Configuration-----------------

I bought the assembly B-G431B-ESC1 to test BLDC motor. I have already installed the software SDK V5.4.8, StmCubeMX and StmCubeID 1.13.0. Unfortunately, when generating the code, there are various errors that I can't figure out. Also, how can I load the finished software via stmCubeID. the board has an embedded ST-link. the stmCubeID does not recognize the driver. how can still access the board. Thank you guys for the support

Hello,I am using STM32CubeIDe V1.10.0.my project is structured as follows:-CubeMX inits-HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady-HAL_I2C_Mem_Read //Read a large amount from an I2C EEPROM-while(1)I have now done a lot of troubleshooting to understand why HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady very often returns HAL_BUSY.The problem is that when debugging, the ST-Link restarts the program and then breaks. This interrupts the I2C communication. If SDA is low at this point (because the external EEPROM is pulling the SDA low) the i2c can never be used again. It is always HAL_BUSY.Only when power is removed will the I2C be re-enabled.When clicking on "Debug", the ST-Link must not restart the software and interrupt it in an undefined manner. The J-Link does not have this problem. As a result, the I2C never hangs up here.

Hello,Recently I try to use the CRC unit insde stm32h753vih6 to do the crc calculation. According to the spec(RM0433), I tried to read/write the registers defined in chapter21. But all the five CRC related registers(CRC_DR, CRC_IDR, CRC_CR, CRC_INIT, CRC_POL) are zero and cannot be changed.addr:0x58024c00 value:0x0addr:0x58024c04 value:0x0addr:0x58024c08 value:0x0addr:0x58024c0c value:0x0addr:0x58024c10 value:0x0  //CRC_POL should have 0x04c11db7 as the default valueI have tried to reset CRC unit through CRC_CR bit0. But the issue still exists.Does CRC module need extra configuration so that it can be used?

Hello,I renamed my custom external loader and now STM32CubeProgrammer gives an error each time I launch it. The new external loader is loaded without problems but I keep getting this error. Is there a way to clean the list of expected external loaders of STM32CubeProgrammer?

Hi !I need to replace my STMG474 to STMU575.I've implemented the USB (CDC) using the USBD library, all works correct. Now I'm trying to implement this on the STMU575, but without success,It looks like the hardware not configured correctly, because Im getting no interrupts at all(no Setup INT or Rx/Tx)...Tried to work according to this example: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32u5-classic-coremw-apps/tree/main/Projects/NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q/Applications/USB_Device/CDC_StandaloneMy main question is, is it possible to implement the STM32U5's USB CDC_ACM with the legacy library ?Is it mandatory to configure and activate the UCPD peripheral ? because now it have'nt (I dont need the Type-C connection, or I didnt understand that right) ? Thanks for any reply !

Hello,I am utilizing a FreeRTOS system on the STM32H725AGI6 in my software with two purposes:- Run a task that handles the TouchGFX process to operate an LCD display- Run a task that handles a BLE process (Which utilizes theBlueNRG-M0A)I have tested both processes separately and both work as I intend them to.  I created the two tasks with the FreeRTOS system and observed that:- If I comment out the creation of the TouchGFX task in the main.c, the BLE portion works as intended- If I comment out the creation of the BLE Task, in the main.c, the TouchGFX portion works as intended- If I run both tasks at the same time, the TouchGFX portion works as intended, the BLE initialization code is run, but the repeated process (MX_BlueNRG_MS_Process()) is never called.I've included the task initialization and process for both below. Additionally, I've attached my CubeMX configuration for the FreeRTOS system. I have tried to do the following:- Increase the cheap size to 35000

I am trying to bring up the MX25UM51245G NOR Flash connected to OctoSPI 1 on a STM32U5xx development board. I have implemented most of the actions specified in AN5050 to set up this NOR Flash.Since my use case does NOT require the ability to have the MCU write to the flash, I have only implemented the read mode of the memory mapped interactions.I have generated code using CubeMX and have set up the memory component as follows:    1. HCLK is 120Mhz.    2. Single Data Rate (expect the OctoSPI to run at 60Mhz).    3. OctoSPI clock prescaler set to '1' ==> expect this to generate a 60Mhz clock to the OctoSPI.When I run the firmware I see that the  MCU has no issues accessing the OctoSpi and the OctoSpiManager on the MCU. I also do not see any 'obvious'  errors when the MCU interacts with the memory's SPI component in 'indirect' or 'auto polling' mode. Then I enable the readonly memory mapped mode (based on example in AN5050) but the

Hi,I have an STM32L0538 discovery board and I'm trying the Demo example. The problem is that it does not work. When I flash the board it changes the e-ink display like this:Also when I touch the bottom bar it does nothing. The revision of the board is Rev-B03.I use the example from the STM32CubeIDE:I need to change something in the project??? Because seems like it works partially. Thanks in advance!

Hi,I'm using STM32G431RB on the NUCLEO-G431RB developement board.I want to generate a signal from an array each time an external trigger is received. The signal is sampled with the TIMER6 trigger, which is rised every 1us. (MCU clock is 170MHz, TIMER6 PSC is 0 and ARR is 170-1).TIMER6 configurationThe DMA is set to normal mode (because I want to generate a signal only when the trigger comes, and not continuously)DAC DMA configuration The DAC is configured like this:DAC configuration I'm calling the HAL_DAC_Start_DMA function each time the external trigger rises, but, even if the trigger is repeated each 1ms, the signal is generated each 2ms. The minimum interval between a signal generation and another one is 2ms and basically I need to reduce it as much as possible.Signal Here the trigger is faster than 2ms but the signal is generated each 2ms The code:/* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/DAC_HandleTypeDef hdac1;DM

Hi,I am trying to use 3 ADCs on STM32F407 with 'Triple regular simultaneous model only'. This option is avaliable in CubeMX configuration, but I can not get it working in the code. I would like to sample 3 channels using the 3 ADCs at the same time. Can you please let me know how to set up this correctly? Which API shall I use?

I am using the STM32H745 series MCU, with the latest (or very recent, at least) version of CUBE IDE.I'm having difficulty getting past errors for including CDT list, map etcIE #include <list> ... doesn't include C++ CDT list and results in errorsAre there any compiler settings, to force inclusion of the full C++ CDT?Or any middleware/ 3rd party STM32 forks, that I can use?

Hi TeamIs it necessary to add a 1.5k pull-up resistor to D+ or D- when using USB VCP at full speed mode with STM32F405 MCU?The port of the MCU be automatically pulled up when the USB of the MCU is set? Please let me know if there any document for recommended circuits.

Hello,I am new to this cpu and experimenting with RTC wakeup using 32kHz LSE. I am usingthis code for the wakeup: void HAL_RTCEx_WakeUpTimerEventCallback(RTC_HandleTypeDef *hrtc){SystemClock_Config();HAL_ResumeTick();...} // In while(1)HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT(&hrtc, 0x4E30, RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_RTCCLK_DIV16, 0);HAL_SuspendTick();HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI);... I removed the SetWakeUpTimer() function from MX_RTC_INIT().It was working fine. I tweaked the MCU clock and generated the code with CubeIDE. I am not sure what went wrong but now its executing the callback (instead every 10s) instantly as fast as it can. I reverted everything i know about but still the same. Hope someone can give me a hint on what configurating i need to fix to make it work again.

Hello there!I've been tinkering around with the STM32H5 and recently I've managed to setup the STM32H563 with SPI and DMA.I'm now trying to understand what is the limit of the burst (either source or destination).  I'm using the DMA channel 4 (with a FIFO of 32 bytes) to receive the data coming from the SPI peripheral. Since this is my first time looking into the DMA, I thought the limit of data I could route through DMA was the FIFO size of 32 bytes. However, when I look into the RM section 16.4.10 about the GPDMA burst, I can see it supports up to 4 bytes * 64 ! In my understanding, this would mean DMA could route 256 bytes max at once. Am I mixing stuff up here? When I try to read the max amount of bytes (4*64) the system doesn't work. It only works when the Size argument of `HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA` is less than the `DestBurstLength` setup inside the `HAL_SPI_MspInit`.Here's the DMA configuration inside the HAL_SPI_MspInit: handle_GPDMA1_Channel4.Instance = GPDMA1_Ch

Hi there!I was trying to emulate eeprom using flash memory. I am using Nucleo-F030R8 board. I am suspecting that the ODR setting in my application is not correct. I want to be using 25Hz so according to the datasheet I would set register address 39h to 48h. 25Hz equals 001 which would give 01001000 = 48h.But all examples and also the Unico tool outputs 4Bh instead of 48h. Am I missing something or should the last two LSB bits always be 1 instead of 0?

Hello forum;I needed help to do some SI simulation on STM32WBA52xx series MCU in MTG Hyperlynx/Altium Designer SI simulator .Hence my question is does this ibis model exist? If yes where can I download it?

Hello,There is a typo in Table 14 in page 153. It is mentioned in different places that STM32H7B0 supports OTP but in this table it is not mentioned!Could you please confirm that this variant supports OTP?Thanks,Ayoub

I am using I2C to transfer data from STM32F4 to DS3231 Real Time Clock registers.HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(I2C_HandleTypeDef *hi2c, uint16_t DevAddress, uint8_t *pData, uint16_t Size, uint32_t Timeout)*hi2c - I2C structureDevAddress - Device address*pData - I don't understand this parameter. It is written on the Internet that this is a pointer for data, but this pointer is used to transfer the register address in the Slave device.Size - data size in Bytes. What parameter should the data be passed?I can use the HAL_I2C_Mem_Write function. This function has a parameter for data transfer. This parameter is also called *pDataHAL_I2C_Mem_Write(I2C_HandleTypeDef *hi2c, uint16_t DevAddress, uint16_t MemAddress, uint16_t MemAddSize, uint8_t *pData, uint16_t Size, uint32_t Timeout) int main() { uint8_t RegisterAddress=0x0; HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, 0xD0, &RegisterAddress, 1, 1000 ); } I think that something is wrong with the &RegisterAddress parameter, but I don’t underst

Hi, I don't see can filters in CubeMx. Someone point me where set it?

Hello everyone,I would be mentioned this topic here which is the same.I am using KeyboardWidget of TouchGFX in my project and need to print the value from keyboard.getBuffer() into a const char to draw it again in QRCode.I have tried all the ways but no result and got some errors.char QRBuffer[20]; void MainView::CreateClicked() { // Show the entered text in the text box on the display Unicode::strncpy(textAreaQRBuffer, keyboard.getBuffer(), TEXTAREAQR_SIZE); // Copy the entered text into the char string to drawing QRCode Unicode::snprintf(QRBuffer, sizeof(QRBuffer), "%d", textAreaQRBuffer); // Drawing the QRCode CreateQR(); }I have used strncpy but also no way! I have tried to casting the buffer value like this but also not working:char* QRBuffer = (char*)textAreaQRBuffer;Any suggestions? Thanks, Mahdi
