If i use the serial interface USART1 HAL_UART_Transmit()( is directly available as a Virtual COM port of a PC connected to STLINK-V3E USB connector CN2) could show in com9 in pc, but uart8(D0/D1) in com9 didn't show anything, This result should be right o bad? if i use putty which port should be for uart8?

hello guys i am new to stm,i am using stm32103 and stmcubeide ,my question is very basic ,i know how to initialize a pin as an output pin or as a pwmpin but i donot know that how to change an output pin into a pwmoutput pin and then again convert that pin from pwmout to general output pin in the middle of a program ,in my case i am using  pin no PA8 as TIM1_ch1 pwm out ,, I want to convert it to PA8 GPIO_output then again ,from GPIO_output to TIM1_ch1 in middle of programme please help me,

Hi all,I trigger the ADC through TIM 2(1HZ/s) and set the ADC to Dual Mode. ADC1 & 2 each have 5 channels. multimode.Mode = ADC_DUALMODE_REGSIMULT; multimode.DualModeData = ADC_DUALMODEDATAFORMAT_32_10_BITS; multimode.TwoSamplingDelay = ADC_TWOSAMPLINGDELAY_1CYCLE; if (HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeConfigChannel(&hadc1, &multimode) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }I want to know if I use HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA to start ADC conversion.The size of my Data array is a multiple of Channels, then it means TIM2 trigger more than once?// Convert once uint32_t adcData1[5]; HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA(&hadc1,(uint32_t*)adcData1,(uint32_t)ADC_CONVERTE_BUFFER_MAX_SIZE)// Convert 40 times ?? Timer trigger 40 times?? uint32_t adcData2[200]; HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA(&hadc1,(uint32_t*)adcData2,(uint32_t)ADC_CONVERTE_BUFFER_MAX_SIZE) Thank you.

Hello,I'm following this tutorial to see what functions I can use to control the motor I'm using : STM32MotorControl:6-step Firmware Algorithm - stm32mcu (stmicroelectronics.cn)Based on that the functions presented there are just the main ones, the complete definition is available in the STM32 MC SDK Reference Manual but I can't find it. Can someone point me to the API documentation?

To whom it may concern, I have an IC, two diiferent IC's in fact, in my hand and it was hard to figure out what they are, their function, or any tech info. I would kindly like to ask for tech feedback, instruction, ie any information you can provide. Photos attached for your convenience.   Many thanks, Dragoslav.

I install different versions of CubeMX, CubeIDE on Windows10 and Linux with MCSDK MCMonitor and Trying and trying to make it work but end up with only errors. I feel to make it more simple software become un usable. And there is no integrity between versions. I don't find my board in Latest CubeIDE i.e B-G431B-ESC1 board. Simple things work much better. Unable to connect with server. On every step there is error.

Hi,I am using STM32U585RIT6 MCU & I planned to flash the firmware through SWD and onboard debugger module (STLINK-V3MODS) through VCP.I am having confusion in configuring the PH3-BOOT0 pin.Should I connect it to 5V or GND.Or shall I make it No connect.@RomainR.  Can you pls help me on this?Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help

Hi there!I am using STM32F413ZH based custom board, Also having Wi-Fi Module along with 32MB×2 QSPI. Wi-Fi module is connected with MCU over UART3 in interrupt mode. I am looking into transfer a 1MB file from a server to QSPI. Especially I will be getting complete 1MB file from server at a instant. So please help me to transfer that file directly to QSPI. How to do that?

I am using a STM32WL55JC2 Nucleo Board that mounts a dual core M4/M0+, I changed the linker script in order to have more RAM and FLASH on the M4, but this change is not reflected on the X-CUBE AI interface when adding a new network.Is it possible to do so? Since I am trying to convert a larger network.

Hi,I am running a NetX Duo webserver example for the STM32H735G-DK board, example given from STM32CubeMX.The example as such works fine. A file is stored on the board's SD-memory (e.g index.html) and then when a request is made with the file name explicity given by: http//192.168.1.102/index.html, the file is fetched from the SD and responded back to the client (browser). Client requests are handled by the callback below: UINT webserver_request_notify_callback(NX_WEB_HTTP_SERVER *server_ptr, UINT request_type, CHAR *resource, NX_PACKET *packet_ptr) { CHAR temp_string[30] = {'\0'}; CHAR data[512] = {'\0'}; UINT string_length; NX_PACKET *resp_packet_ptr; UINT status; ULONG resumptions; ULONG suspensions; ULONG idle_returns; ULONG non_idle_returns; ULONG total_bytes_sent; ULONG total_bytes_received; ULONG connections; ULONG disconnections; ULONG main_thread_count; ULONG server_thread_count; ULONG led_thread_count; CHAR *main_thread_name; CHAR *server

Does anyone know how to view the Registers in CubeMX while changing?If not, I think it would be nice to add a way.

I'm trying to write to a single register of a LCD controller using the 16 Bit FMC peripheral in SRAM mode.[update)My assumption at the moment is that the controller writes 64 bits even the command STRH should only write a half word (16 bits).When writing one single 16 bit word, the STM32H750VBT generates two #WR strobes within two #CS with alternating data in the second #CS sequence - for whatever reason I don't know. Reading from this address just works fine. One #RD, one #CS. I tried several options and timings, effect stays the same. CPU Cache is OFF. Has anyone an idea what I am doing wrong here? Thanks in advance!I generated this init code with CubeMX:SRAM_HandleTypeDef hsram1;   /* FMC initialization function */ void MX_FMC_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN FMC_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END FMC_Init 0 */   FMC_NORSRAM_TimingTypeDef Timing = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN FMC_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END FMC_Init 1 */   /** Perform the SRAM1 memory init

Hello,I have an STM32F373 and setup a master uC and slave uC to communicate over SPI with DMA enabled.  I send a fixed packet size of 10bytes and have set the DMA size to 20bytes in case I need a double buffer for my solution.  I  enabled a SS/CS output pin on the master which goes active low when sending data to the slave.  I enabled an EXTI input pin on the slave to detect the master setting the SS/CS pin low or high, with the interrupt enabled for rising and falling edge in case I need those for my solution.Currently, I don't use the EXTI interrupts since I use the DMA half-transfer interrupt to detect when a full 10 byte packet has been received.  For now, I plan on clearing the SPI DMA in this interrupt so the second half of the DMA buffer will never really be used unless I implement a double buffer. I see a flaw in my design; What if the slave's SPI DMA potentially fills with a few bytes due to noise?  Let's say the SPI gets 1 byte of noise

Hello,I have a STM32 sending a packet a second, up to 25 UDP packets, to another STM32 whose role is to echo these packets back to the sending STM32.Inside the packets is a value which I increment after every transmission.I've noticed that at the original STM I only receive message 1, after I transmitted message 4.However, if I continue to run the program I do receive all 25 messages and actually in order.because I transmit every second I expected to receive the echo of the first message before I sent the second. I am allocating small pBuf sizes, much smaller than my PBUF_POOL_BUFSIZE define, are the packets being queue'd somewhere either at receive or transmit?Thanks.Using RAW LWIP 2.1. and STM32F4.

Hi, I was facing one issue..while running firmware in my device (stm32f4)in the middle suddenly controller got restarted, when I checked that RCC reset status register and I got to know that power on reset ,but I didn't restart my device only , May I know in which condition controller automatically restart by power on reset

I've been having this problem where I configure my STM32F303VCT6 to send out 8 bits but the CLK sends out 16 cycles. I already tried casting the data as proposed on other forum posts but it doesn't work for me. Does anyone see the problem? - - - Library Code - - -void LLD_SPI_INIT(SPI spi){ uint32_t *RCC_APB2ENR = (uint32_t*)0x40021018; //RCC Register for AHB which holds clock to SPI peripheral //Configure SPI pins LLD_GPIO_INIT(spi.MISO); LLD_GPIO_INIT(spi.MOSI); LLD_GPIO_INIT(spi.SCK); LLD_GPIO_INIT(spi.CS); LLD_GPIO_CONFIG(spi.MISO); LLD_GPIO_CONFIG(spi.MOSI); LLD_GPIO_CONFIG(spi.SCK); LLD_GPIO_CONFIG(spi.CS); LLD_GPIO_SET_PIN(spi.CS, 1); //Enable clock for SPI pin *RCC_APB2ENR |= (1 << 12); } void LLD_SPI_CONFIG(){ uint32_t *SPIx_CR1 = (uint32_t*)0x40013000; //SPI control register 1 uint32_t *SPIx_CR2 = (uint32_t*)0x40013004; //SPI control register 2 //Disable SPI *SPIx_CR1 &= ~(0x01 << 6); //Clear bits //Baud rate *SPIx_CR1 &=

I am using a nucleo-f767zi to control a reverdi tft display.The project in CUBEMX ide is using freertos and there for the time base is changed from systick to TIM6.I am trying to task enable sequence for the screen but i see that i am stack in an infinite loop in HAL_delay() function.I debbugged it and i see that when i stepped into the code program stops at :   __weak void HAL_Delay(uint32_t Delay) { uint32_t tickstart = HAL_GetTick(); uint32_t wait = Delay; /* Add a freq to guarantee minimum wait */ if (wait < HAL_MAX_DELAY) { wait += (uint32_t)(uwTickFreq); } // it is blocked in side this loop. which means that HAL_GetTick() has issue. while ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) < wait) { } } It seems that HAL_GetTick has issue so this means that i am missing some setup.Can you someone guide me where to look?Project identifies TIM6 as base time and the interrupt is there in ioc

Hello!I'm working on a prototype using FOC, and I got everything working with the following scheme:NUCLEO-F401RE, Custom Power Board, CubeIDE 1.12.1, CubeMX 6.8.0, Motor Pilot 1.1.12 and MCSDK 6.1.2.Now I'm trying to do the same thing but with the STM32F401CCU6 (48-UQFPN). I'm importing the first project that works, but in order to import the same project I need to relocate the current sensing pins, since on the Nucleo they are on PortC (that are not present on the 48-pin MCU). I couldn't find a straightforward way to do this, and just relocating the pins in CubeMX isn't working (even though I'm making sure everything has exactly the same configuration as before).I've already looked a lot in the official documentation of this version of the SDK about pin reallocation, and I wasn't successful.Any kind of help would be appreciated! Thanks

para aplicar  i2c alternate function open-drain GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_PULLDOWN o should be GPIO_PULLUP  (what diferencetween both) and uart alternate function push-pull should be pull-up or pull-down what diferencetween both?

Hello,I am relatively new here and would like to try to design a STM32H747AI board with LiPo battery power supply for wearable devices with features like OLED microdisplay, WiFi+Bluetooth and GNSS module. Since I would like to run a GUI on it with smooth 2D and 3D animations, what RAM should I use? What is the maximum RAM data bus width, size and speed supported by MCU? Also, how can I connect the eMMC to the MCU and what speed mode should I use if the datasheet states a maximum of 125 MHz? And how can an OLED display be connected to the MCU and what is the maximum resolution at which the display can operate at 60 fps (alternatively 30 fps) ? I searched the datasheet for answers, but didn't find the answer I was looking for, or I just wasn't sure.Thank you very much in advance for any advice.Regards

I believe this is a TRIAC based on the circuit it is in, but I cannot find any data on this device nor vendors having it in stock.  It's a TO-220 package, could someone please explain the ST part numbering?  Thanks!

im working on modified CDC usb device in full speed mode and i cant recive fore then 64 bytes of data from PC. im using latest HAL drivers and release notes say USB RX lenght bugs are fixed, but i dont think so XD

Hi, I am using the STM32L45 series in my HW and I wonder if it can support I3C protocol?If not, is there another compatible MCU you would recommend?Thanks, yy

I am trying to identify a transient voltage suppressor manufactured by ST that I need to replace.I have not been able to determine the correct product based on the coding found on the package. Would anyone here be able to identify this TVS?The coding appears to be C3J C616, but it is a bit unclear. The package is a surface mount approx. 3mm x 5mm. The TVS is used in a 24V pool actuator valve control system.
