I have a STM32U595 with a 32.768kHz LSE oscillator.I wish to generate a 1ms/1kHz timebase with the accuracy/drift characteristics of the LSE, so naturally I went to make use of the "Hardware auto calibration with LSE (PLL-mode)" feature.Firstly, can I say that there is generally nowhere near enough detail for this feature in the STM32U5 documentation, which is probably a contributing factor to my issue. The L4 series has some random powerpoint presentations which shed a bit more light, but that's assuming this feature works the same in the U5 series.When I turn on MSI PLL-Mode, MSIK does not appear to lock to actual frequency specified. When I compare RTC calibration to MSIK fed to MCO on a 'scope MSIK does appear to phase lock in terms of drift. However, whereas the RTC calibration output is very very close to 1Hz, the MSIK frequency is actually worse then without the PLL-mode.To rule out the 'scope, I used my (supposedly) PLL'd MSIK as the kernel clock for a LPTIM (to avoid clock syn

Hello,I'm use ST25R95. I'm facing problem with Tag detection in WEF mode.Its working fine with WEF from Time out and IRQ_In low pulse, But not get wake from sleep modewhen I configured it for a Tag detection.Observation: I seen during Tag Calibration that there is no change appear in result of calibration Idle command withTag or Without Tag, all time the pattern of response even without Tag or with Tag calibration is same. Obvious thatcalibration should be without Tag, but I tried with tag to check what changes happen in response from slave, but there is no change, I get always same response pattern.I'm use these commands for calibration and to put in WEF mode respectively, {ST25R95_COMMAND_IDLE, 0x0E, 0x03, 0xA1, 0x00, 0xF8, 0x01, 0x18, 0x00, 0x00, 0x60, 0x60, 0x00, 0x00, 0x3F, 0x01};{ST25R95_COMMAND_IDLE, 0x0E, 0x0A, 0x21, 0x00, 0x79, 0x01, 0x18, 0x00, 0x00, 0x60, 0x60, 0x74, 0x84, 0x3F, 0x08};Also with value of gRFAL.wum.cfg.indAmp.delta = 4U, Its woke up without Tag and r

Hello everyone, I try to connect the Nucleo-NFC08A1 board with a STM32F205VET6 via SPI. Hi guys:I had a project with a bootloader and an application, let me call them "BT1" and "APP1".I want to rewrite the "APP1" and already done, let me call the new app "APP2".Now the "BT1" can jump to "APP1", but can't jump to "APP2", I am sure the app address is the same.So I rewrote the "BT1" also, called "BT2". Amazing, the "BT2" jumps to "APP2" normally.I don't know actually why "BT1" to "APP1" and "BT2" to "APP2" is OK, but "BT1" to "APP2" or "BT2" to "APP1" failed.I check the bin file of "APP1" and "APP2" as below:(We can see both the APP start addresses are 0x08010000, and I also checked the Reset_Handler start address with the map file)Now, I want some help with why it happened, what should I try next, or how to debug this issue.Thanks!

Hello everyone,In my project i am using STM32F107VCT6 MCU. When i tried to control gpio pin it is not changing state from low-high/ high-low.  I am only getting issue with PB3. In hardware i have connected this pin to SCK pin of W25Q16. I have enabled gpio clock and set the mode of this pin to output_PP(Implementing SoftSPI).CODE SNIPPET:Note: Code generated in keil. I have enabled CMSIS core & selected required device files(Startup + GPIO,RCC & FRAMEWORK from StdPeriph Drivers)  I only want to use standard peripheral library(LL). I have tried it with other gpios & it is working absolutely fine. As well as PB3 is working fine if i use HAL. So please can you help what should be done in strandard peripheral library to make it work.

Hello Everyone,I tried the GFX02Z1 "HelloWorld" firmware example on the Nucleo H723ZG. Apparently the example does not work in DMA mode but alway gets stuck in DMA_TxErrorCallback. When switching to No DMA mode it works perfectly well.Did anyone encounter the same problem? Due to performance issues I'd really like to have the DMA mode running.I appreciate any help :)

  Dear Technical Support, Could you provide me the MTBF of ATECC608A-MAHDA-T and the temperature which it was determined and the energy activation value? Thank you so much, María

Hello,Im trying to use CAN on an STM32F042F6P6. The datasheet tells me to remap PA11/12 to PA9/10. How would I do that in CubeMX?https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32f042c4.pdfIf I hover over the grayed out CAN, it tells me that I have to do this in "SYS". Id assume this means the System View, however that doesnt really bring me any further either.

Can anybody point me to example of two or more ADC channels polling?I'm trying to measure two channels of one ADC but it looks like it reads one channel twiceInitialization:static void MX_ADC1_Init(void) { ADC_MultiModeTypeDef multimode = {0}; ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV1; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_ENABLE; // scan all channels? hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE; hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc1.Init.NbrOfConversion = 2; hadc1.Init.DMAContinuousRequests = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SEQ_CONV; //<<<< hadc1.Init.LowPowerAutoWait = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.Overrun = ADC_OVR_DATA_OVERWRITTEN; if (HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1) != HAL_OK)

Hi all!I have a project in STM32CudeIde that being downloaded via ST-Link works correctly. Also I have a hex file in MyProject/Release. If I compare downloaded via ST-Link code inside MCU with the hex file, they are different. So I cannot use the hex file for my own bootloader because the hex file code is trash (interrupt table different, code different...).How can I get true hex file of code?

Hi hope you guys are well,  When i call the function to turn the BLE on, it starts to advertise but i dont know to get out of that function , means in the main while loop the code is stuck at MX_APPE_Proccess(), i did the debugging but its just looping the same function  (void UTIL_SEQ_Run( UTIL_SEQ_bm_t Mask_bm ){) i want to move to next statements  in the main while loop   FLASH->KEYR =  0x02030405;  while (1)  {   HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_1, 0);         HAL_Delay(100);          HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_1, 1);          HAL_Delay(100);        HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_1, 0);        HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_1, 1);    /* USER CODE END WHILE */    if (HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_4) == 0)    {     MX_APPE_Process();   &n

Hello,I was using STM32 Blue Pill board and it was working fine until few hours ago. It suddenly stopped working. I was trying to make the built-in LED (At PC13) blink using Arduino IDE but it's not even blinking when i do Reset now. I've tried Flashing The Bootloader again but that didn't worked as well. Idk what might have gone wrong with it. Is the Reset Button broken " Or It's something else. If anyone knows how i can fix this than please let me know. I appreciate any kind of help.

I'm considering using a QSPI RAM to expand the RAM of an STM32H7 device (not FLASH).If possible, I'd like to use memory mapped mode. However, when I was doing research on this, I ran across a bunch of posts saying that memory mapped mode for QUAD-SPI RAM is read-only.For example, see this post: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/is-it-possible-to-use-serial-sram-qspi-with-the-stm32h743/td-p/262301Where is the documentation that states this? I looked through the datasheet and reference manual and see no mention of this. Do STM32H5 devices have this same limitation?

Hello Ladies and Gents,I have following Problem with my App:The Scanrate from given Timer can be in min. 10ms. These ist f=1/0,010=100Hz. So If I configure the Lis2dh to normal or Highres Mode I have a f=1.344 KHz Anybody have an Idea how to increase/decrease the Scanrate to geht all the values of interval?Also I'm bind to USB and the Transactiondelay from max 500ms. Stv

Hi!I am developing a custom loader for a custom H7-board with a OSPI with a page size of 512 bytes (0x200). Naturally the programming via the Write() function needs to be optimized in programming whole pages aligned on boundaries and so on.When debugging with a loading a testfile of 572 bytes (0x23c), the Write() is called twice with these input values from CubeProgrammer:Write()-------------------- Address: 0x70000000 Size: 0x13c Write()-------------------- Address: 0x7000013c Size: 0x100I have stated page size to 512 bytes in Dev_Inf.c so it does not make sense why the first call is not made with a size of 0x200 and the second call is made with the "rest" 0x3c..For other tests it almost appear as CubeProgrammer calls Write() with "random size chunks" and naturally causing the programming to fail.Have I missed something here, what logic is applied in CubeProgrammer?

Hi,Whenever i try to download ST25 embedded NFC library (STSW-ST25R-LIB ----> STSW-ST25R017), I encounter this message: "Not available for download".Same message in last 4 days.Best Regards.

I used a Nucleo F439ZI to develop initial software (with a custom daughterboard) and now have redesigned the whole lot onto a single board with the STM32 MCU.  I'd like to remain able to support both boards in my Cube project as the nucleo one is much easier to modify.I used the pinout -> compatible MCU selector in Cube to find an MCU which digikey stocked and which was the cheapest pinout compatible which met my needs which found the F429ZET6.  I'd have imagined that thanks to the HAL I would simply need to switch "Build configuration" or similar to go between them but this doesn't seem to work it sems I need to completely retarget, code generate the project. Am I missing something obvious? This seems to be the design journey the software encourages me to take.Did I make a mistake in not using the identical MCU (STM32F439ZIT6) to the one on the Nucleo Board?

Hi, I am using G474RE nucleo board and I want to communicate between the UARTs available on the board (UART2,UART1 and UART3). Message is not transmitting complete in to UART1 from UART2 and same with UART3 from UART1

Hello, i am dealing with an i2c issue.I am trying to trasnmit from my NucleoF401RE (as master) to an ESP32 (as slave). I cant make to ESP32 respond the device address. I take some measures off the SDA and SCL signalsI realized that SDA has cero hold time and i am not quite sure if it is okey.I make also some measure but now using my ESP32 as master and those are the signals:i am not quite sure but i think this is the problem beacuse de ESP32 does not send the acknowledge.Is there a way to put some hold time to my nucleo F401RE ? Right now i am using the I2C in polling mode. I add my config and code: int main(void){  MX_I2C1_Init();  /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ Buffer_tx[0] = 0x15;Buffer_tx[1] = 0xF5;  while (1)  {ret = HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, SLAVE_ADDR, Buffer_tx, 2,HAL_MAX_DELAY );  }}

Hi, I have set ADC + DMA in H743, I reuse code that work in products every days but today a strange beauvoir happened, ADC work only in debug mode, somebody know this issue?thanks friends.

When I Update WRP option bytes in stm32u585 via program and call OB_launch is resetting device continuously.Here is the code snippet. any other configurations I am missing??

Hi,I am new to STM32 devices. I have a STM32F407 Discovery 1 board.I wanted to generate a 1 KHZ signal with a 50% duty cycle.The timer clock is configured to 84 MHZI am using TIM3 on channel 4. The prescaler is 210 and the counter period is 400 =>84000000 / 210 / 400 is 1000 HZIn my code I have the following: HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_4); // start PWM on TIM3 CH4 on PB1 pin PWM_Duty = 200; // set duty cycle to 50% __HAL_TIM_SetCompare(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_4, PWM_Duty); // set duty cycle of PWM pin, now PWM starts runningHere is what I am seeing on the scope:As you can see the frequency is 992.9 HZ.I am trying to understand the resolution and why it is not 1000 HZ?Thanks for any info.Brent

If I use CubeProgrammer to connect the internal boot loader of STM32H750XBH6 via USB (pull Boot-0 high), can I program the external SPI Flash through CubeProgrammer? I know it's possible to do this using ST-Link (ps. by stldr) directly, but I can't do it using USB by similiar way.

Hi, I have an STM32L4x6 processor.I'm reading data using ADC and DMA, and after the HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback, I process the data with a Fast Fourier Transform. Originally, in bare-metal, I had a flag in the main loop, and when the interrupt occurred, I set the flag and calculated the FFT(). My processor is currently running at 4MHz. The entire FFT operation took about 140-145ms (measured with HAL_GetTick()).Afterward, I wanted to see the results with FreeRTOS. I created a task that starts when the flag is set to 1 by the HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback. However, when I measure it with osKernelGetTickCount(), the FFT function takes three times as long under FreeRTOS compared to bare-metal. I also tried giving the task a high priority and experimented with kernel_lock, but in all cases, it's about 480ms.What could be causing this significant difference?I also tried other tasks like memcpy and looped copying, and in all cases, the tasks take about three times as long under FreeRTOS.Does any
