Solved

Good morning, I have some problems with interrupt priority on the STM32F429.I set up a serial communication on UART1 with this priority// USARTNVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannel = USART1_IRQn;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelPreemptionPriority = 0;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelSubPriority = 0;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelCmd = ENABLE;NVIC_Init ( &NVIC_InitStructure );I also set a TIM1 timer with this priority.// TIM1NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannel = TIM1_UP_TIM10_IRQn;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelPreemptionPriority = 1;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelSubPriority = 1;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelCmd = ENABLE;NVIC_Init (&NVIC_InitStructure);Although the serial priority is greater than the timer priority, if I am executing the timer interrupt routine (lasting about 200usec), I have verified that when I receive data via serial at 57600,N,8,1 (and therefore a byte every 156us ) the data is lost because it does not enter the serial interrupt routine.Why does

It would be very useful and I think relative easy to implement: To have an alternative pinout view but instead of the the IC, a view of the nucleo board with the morpho and arduino connectors.Something like this but interactive: https://os.mbed.com/platforms/ST-Nucleo-G474RE/#morpho-headersThanks for taking it into consideration.

Hi all,I tried to configure timer 14 to generate interrupt every 500 ms . i am toggling an GPIO to measure delay .when put a breakpoint interrupt gets triggered but unable to see waveform in logic analyser of GPIO toggling with delay .My clock frequency is 4 MHZ , desired interval period is 500 ms  so PSC is 2000 , ARR is 1000.Kindly give suggestions   void main() { timer_init(); HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim1); while(1) { } } void timer_init() { htim1.Instance = TIM14; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 2000 - 1; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 1000 - 1; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } } void HAL_TIM_Base_MspInit(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { if(htim->Instance == TIM14) { /* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_TIM14_CLK_ENABLE(); /* TIM14 interrupt Init */ HAL_NV

Hi all,Looking to implement FOTA on a custom board which uses the STM32WB55M module. I understand the principles of the FOTA solution and the services/characteristics and have looked over the relevant app note, but I have a couple of questions about how precisely to actually implement the solution.1. Would installing both the OTA application and the user application be a matter of compiling each (OTA app with a linker script specifying a start address of 0x08000000 and the user app at (IIRC) 0x08007000) separately and then loading each binary separately at the respective addresses?2. For custom boards, is it typical to just use the OTA application given in the STM32CubeWB software package (with some slight modifications to, for example, the BSP functions which control Nucleo LEDs)?In other words, what I *think* is the procedure, given that I currently have a custom board with a user application:Modify user app linker script to start at an address beyond where the OTA app will endTake t

Hello,I am not really new, but i have a courious problem.I have a STM32F103CBU6 device (new), and started a new C++ Project with STM32CubeIDE 1.13.2 and the STM32Cube FW_F1 V1.8.5 firmware package.I have a external crystal for both (HSE + LSE) and is configured in RCC.So, if i configure under "SYS" the "Debug: Serial Wire" and Timebase Source: "TIM2" or so, then after compile, and uploading the code and starting with debugger, begins the problem.Code runs with first Breakpoint: HAL_Init();When i try to resume the code, makes my STM32CubeIDE very strange things, my window changes out of the main.c code to "Break at address "0x1ffff766" with no debug information available, or outside of program code.":Question 1: so, why my debugger jumps out of the code to a source that not available ?Is there a Problem since the firmware? or a problem with the STM32CubeIDE?Question 2: Why my code stops at the HAL_Init ?When i try to resume the code after "Break at address "0x1ffff766" with no debug inf

Hello,I encountered a strange problem while using STM32H563.I tried using TPIU to output trace information.When I access the TPIU register(address:0xE0040000) in debugging mode, it will cause debugging to disconnect.Connection cannot be restored through NRST reset,but power on reset can connect to the debugger and the application runs normally.Could you assist me in using TPIU normally on STM32H563?Best Regards.

So , I wrote all driver my self so dont know how to ask this but i can provide you with few code.This is main.c file and other driver file is attached below........#include <string.h>#include "stm3f407xx.h"void delay(void){for(uint32_t i =0;i<500000/2;i++);}/** PB 12 --> NSS* PB 13 --> SCLK* PB 14 --> MISO* PB 15 --> MOSI** */void SPI2_GPIOInint(void){GPIO_Handle_t SPI_Pins;SPI_Pins.pGPIOx = GPIOB;SPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinMode = GPIO_MODE_ATLFN;SPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinAFMode = 5;SPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinOType = GPIO_OP_TYPE_PP;SPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinPuPdControl = GPIO_NO_PUPD;SPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinSpeed = GPIO_OP_SPEED_HI;// SCLKSPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinNumber = GPIO_PIN_NO_13;GPIO_Init(&SPI_Pins); // MISO//SPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinNumber = GPIO_PIN_NO_14;//GPIO_Init(&SPI_Pins);// MOSISPI_Pins.GPIO_PinConfig.GPIO_PinNumber = GPIO_PIN_NO_15;GPIO_Init(&SPI_Pins);//NSSSPI_Pins.pGPIOx = GPIOB;SPI_P

 Hi,1. Project Purpose:  Generate pulse to control stepper Driver. 2. My method and step:  1) every 2 milisecond calculate out the pulse need to send next cycle;  2) DMA and Timer Handle the pulse sending.      a. Timer update interru  3pte cycle is 2ms,  ARR = 56000.      b. enable OC compare output , Toggle mode      C. Timer count from 0~56000, CCRx will be a series value attempt to toggle the output.          For example, I want to generate 2 pulse in 2ms cycle, Then I need to set CCRx to  14000 , 28000, 42000, 55999 step by step.       d. Using DMA to Send CCRx Array.       e. Using DMA Double Buffer mode. 3. My Question:    1)  All work right when the pulse frequence below 100kHz    2)  It seems that above 100KHz, DMA will be too slow to push the newer CCRx value to the peripherial. So th

Hi,I want to debug the H753ZI through USART2 and connect to the PC through USB. I've done this a lot with other NUCLEO boards. Apparently this feature is not present on the H753ZI board?Is there another UART connected to the ST-link on this board? Or is there no opportunity to send UART through USB?Thanks in advance,Best regardsTom

Hello, Where I can get the Altium files for the X-Nucleo-NFC08A1?

I'm using STM32CubeProgrammer to flash my custom target using an STM32MP153AAA MPU. I have onboard a 4GB eMMC memory. During the programming process through DFU all seems good and finishes at 100% but then sits for a bit and I get errors. Seemingly TF-A is crashing or not starting after load. I'm searching for causes and how to fix. Attached is my TSV file using in the programmer. I'm using EcoSystem 4.1.0.

I want to design an Intuitive System with a 1280x 800 LCD interface with RGB 888 running Fluidic Animations and transitions (30FPS) Which system combination will work to create such a system? I figured it would require STM32H750 Or similar MCu with 32 BIT RAM Interface 24 Bits RGB Along with QUAD FLASH.

MCU: STM32G491RET6 Due to other pins being unavailable, I am trying to use TIM8_CH3N to generate a PWM output. To test this, I used CubeMx to generate configuration code for me, and only added the line to start PWM:HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim8, TIM_CHANNEL_3); // start pwm generationTo check that the MCU and CubeMx code are good, I also am generating another PWM, on TIM3_CH1. Again, I only added one line to the CubeMx generated code: HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_1); // start pwm generation TIM3_CH1 PWM works, while TIM8_CH3N does not. I am not sure if it is possible to use only TIM8_CH3N, without using TIM8_CH3 (I can't use TIM8_CH3 because the pin it is connected to has another dedicated function).Any help appreciated.Code: main.c:  main.c: /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************

Hello everyone,I working with the X-Nucleo-NFC08A1 and the X-Cube-NFC6. I would like to know at what point in the program is the RF field turned on. The reason for this is that I would like to know how long a Tag has to be in the field to be ready for action.Rgds

With reference to RM0436, the STM32MP157 Reference Manual, revision 6.On pages 1066 and 1072 the schematic structures of a GPIO port are drawn (figures 119, 120, and 122). These all show an inverter circle on the gate of P-MOS output transistor and none on the N-MOS transistor. This suggests that the P-MOS is active low and the N-MOS is active high.However, the written documentation states the opposite: that the P-MOS is active high (pulls the output pin high for a "1" bit unless in open-drain mode) and the the N-MOS is active low (pulls the output pin low for a "0" bit).From experience I believe that the written documentation is correct, so should the schematic not be redrawn to show the inverter circle on the gate of the N-MOS output transistor?Attached please find annoted screen shots of the pages in question.

The above is my schematic layout of ,STM32F103C6 Series, attached to a virtual terminal with transmitting and receiving lines mentioned and the pin PA2 is used as an ADC input pin.The above is the power rails configuration .The above is the pinout view where PA9 and PA10 are used for transmitting and receiving which are attached to the virtual terminal as showed.The above is the code where I declared test as an unsigned integer of 16 bits and character msg of length 10.Then I have written the code for starting the ADC and then stopping for Conversion whereafter I have retrieved the values from HAL_ADC_GetValue and transmited to the virtual monitor by the help of UART Transmit functionThen I have build my program and converted into hex file whereafter I copied its path to the proteus stm32 model's program file.The above is the output I am getting.I am very confused on what went wrong in my program and simulation,It would be very helpful If you guyz could assist me on this issue.

Hi,What error on HSE frequency is acceptable by STM32WB35? More than 1 kHz can disturb connection process (its interrupted or it's slow than usual on some phones) or can cause unexpected disconnection? Does this affect the range of the advertisement ?Best,msemegen

Hello, I'm trying to enable the dark theme in SPC5Studio, which Eclipse has by default. See the image. Has anyone got it working? Thank you for your response.MJ.

Hi,looking in the AN5902 Finite State Machine application note for LIS2DUXS12, rev 3 on page 47, it is mentioned that using the Adaptive self-configuration (ASC) it is possible to switch from Ultra Low Power mode to High-Performance mode. However, in the AN58012 application note for LIS2DUXS12, rev 3 page 15, it says that it is not possible to directly switch from Ultra Low Power mode to High-Performance without setting the accelerometer to power-down mode.What is correct, is the ASC example in the AN5902 application note really possible to do? Also, a second question. If TI3 = 125 samples and the ODR is 100Hz, wouldn't that mean 1.25s? In the example it says 5 seconds but that will only be true if ODR is 25Hz, right?

How to turn on  stm32f429-disc1 board by using an external power supply and use stlink only for programming and debugging.

Hello all,I would like to use the ST Bootloader which is described in the Application Note AN2606.https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an2606-stm32-microcontroller-system-memory-boot-mode-stmicroelectronics.pdf.The used controller is the STM32H563. Under point 50.1 it is described that FDCAN1 must be used. As FDCAN1_Rx pin PB5 and FDCAN1_Tx pin PB13 is defined. But these two GPIOs go to FDCAN2 and not to FDCAN1.Can you help me further on this, which pins or which FDCANx should be used?Thanks in advance!Jannik

Hello!I am trying to run the BLE_TransparentMode example https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/tree/master/Projects/STM32WB5MM-DK/Applications/BLE/BLE_TransparentMode/STM32CubeIDE I have opened the project in STM32CubeIDE and try to compile,I get errors that the stm32wbxx.hfile is missing, which is true, its not there. I have searched the whole STM32CubeWB github directory for this file but its not there, although there is a folder STM32WBxx at STM32CubeWB-master\Drivers\CMSIS\Device\STbut that folder is empty. Am I missing something?

Hello,I am using the X-Nucleo-NFC03A1 shield with the Arduino Uno. I use the library for the BM019 as an inspiration for reading my tag. Setting the protocol, the echo command and the IDN command all work fine, but when I try to read the UID of the tag I always get the error 88 in my response code meaning invald start of frame. I am using the ISO 15693. Could you help me find the cause of that error and tell me what it means.For getting the UID I use the commands 0x00 0x04 0x03 0x26 0x01 0x00 as reccomended in the datasheet.Thanks.

Hello.I would like to know about the error of TSB582 consumption current.Please let me know if there is a figure between it's consumption current (or quiescent current) vs. supply voltage for the number of parts, and data on minimum and maximum consumption current.Thanks.

Hi, Our team was working on training Deep Learning models for a specific business requirement. We ran into an issue with our training data as it's biased toward our region (as we collected local data). Does ST offer Data Collection services that can help us obtain the required data? We don't want to go with third party data providers (unless they're partnered with ST).
