LWIP/ V6.5.0. STMH32H735_DISCO (https://github.com/stm32-hotspot/STM32H7-LwIP-Examples) .Rx_PoolSection. (former .RxArraySection) seems not to be guarded by the MPU against cache coherency issues. Is this the right way? I have compared 2 STMH32H735_DISCO_Eth examples, one built under cube IDE V6.2.1 and a more recent one built with IDE V6.5.0. (thanks to @pavel A.  for providing the reference to the new examples on GIT).The V6.5.0. example  moved the Rx_PoolSection/RxArraySection from AHB D2 RAM to AXI D1 RAM. The MPU configuration in the example seems not to protect the Rx_PoolSection/RxArraySection area from cache coherency problems any more. Can such a protection be omitted and if so why?  I made a very detailed .doc describing in detail my findings, it is attached to this post.

I have a compilation error when I switch from debug mode to release mode, as showed in the pic below:What did I miss?

Hi,Probably a dump question but wanted to make sure I got it right. On a STM32 MCU, lets sayPB0/PB1 (scl/sda) have AF4 as I2C1PB5/PB6 (scl/sda) have AF4 as I2C1If I configure all PB0/PB1/PB5/PB6 to use AF4 as I2C1,Enabling/reading/writing on I2C1 works as expected as long as the slave devices on (PB0PB1 and PB5PB6) have different addresses?Or should we only have one set of pins (PB0PB1 or PB5PB6) configured to use I2C1 ?Thank you.

I have a STM32F407 with an SD card wired in 4-bytes mode and FATFS middleware to manage the files.I upgraded to STM32CubeIDE 1.11 two weeks ago, but since then the SD card stopped working. The initialization fails in the SD_WideBus_Enable function, since scr[1] is read as 0 (file stm32f4xx_hal_sd.c).I noticed that this behavior disappears when I set hsd.Init.BusWide = SDIO_BUS_WIDE_1B in MX_SDIO_SD_Init (file sdio.c). This, however, was changed in SDIO_BUS_WIDE_4B in the newer version of the IDE, breaking the functionality.I was not able to check whether the SD actually works in 4-bits mode when initialized to SDIO_BUS_WIDE_1B, but I think so, since the HAL_SD_ConfigWideBusOperation gets called with 4 bytes. So, is it correct to continue using SDIO_BUS_WIDE_1B? If so, how can I preserve it, since every time I let Cube to generate the files the modification gets overwritten?

Hello,Im new to this and im stuck on 2 things i generated a code from the motorcontrol workbench and im using a Nucleo 64 f030R8 with a IHM07M1A BLDC Motor controller. i can start the motor and control speed. 1st question : where can i change direction because the motor is rotating always the same direction CCW and i also want the motor to turn CW.2nd question : i needed to insert the motor parameters in the workbench but cant find these back in the IDE software maybe someone knows where to find this.Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to receiving your response.

Hello? If you just build from the Device Configuration Tool(*.ioc), an error will occur as shown in the picture below.(MCU: STM32F730, File:usbd_conf.c) The functions that enable clocking and the functions that enable ULPI clocking already exist above (line 116) and below (line 118), but they are incompletely mixed in the middle line, creating errors every time.Because of this, the current situation is that I have to delete or comment it out every time. I would like to ask how to get rid of it from the beginning.Thank you for reading.

Hai ,am trying to make a pwm signal to drive an H bridge driver  ,My board is Nucleo-F070RBI am using the following function HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_IT(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_1);HAL_TIMEx_PWMN_Start_IT(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_1);HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_IT(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_2);HAL_TIMEx_PWMN_Start_IT(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_2); But not getting any wave

I'm porting a QSPI bootloader over from a design that 1 flash chip to 2 flash chips in parallel (10 bit mode, common CS).  I am not sure how the addressing works now that there are 2 chips in parallel.  I feel like the only thing STM32 says on the matter is in AN4760 in that even bytes goto one flash 1 and odd bytes goto the flash 2.If I have something that is addressed at 0x1000 internally by the STM32, when sending QSPI commands to write or erase to the QSPI do I need to double the address (to 0x2000) first?  Or does the QSPI interface in the STM32 already do that for me?

Hi,I recently bought a ST-LINK/V2 dongle and it didn't work. I checked the insides of it to see that the microcontroller inside wasn't an ST one, but a Geehy clone microcontroller. I bought another, which was not a dongle, it was the larger white version. I made sure it was authentic. This gave me the same problems as the first one. I am trying to program an STM32F030F4P6 microcontroller for my custom board using SWD with 4 pins: CLK, DIO, 3V3 and GND. They are connected using screw terminals, which I have connected to the ST-LINK/V2 via jumper wires to pins 9, 7, 19, 20. Same order as above. I have not been able to program it once. I have verified with a multimeter that the jumper wires are connected to the corresponding pins on the MCU. I have made sure that VDD and VDDA are connected. Boot0 is low, NRST is high. I have attempted to program it using different IDE's, which include STM32CubeIDE and Keil microVision 5.When I connect the ST-LINK to my Windows 11 PC and open STM32 ST-LINK

i am using stm32mp135-dk board i am install the  STM32MP1-Ecosystem-v5.0.0 Starter Package    now i want to connect the board with my laptop using putty software ,i have the ip address of the board but did't have the password of the board. what will be the default password??

Hi all,I am using the NUCLEO-F446RE with the STM32F446RE. I am trying to interface with an external dual sampling differential ADC: ADS9224R.ADC Timing DiagramThe ADC can provide samples at up to 3M/s. I would be happy to achieve ~0.8M/s sampling.I have been struggling to meet the timing that I require and can only reach ~180kHz with the STM32. My problem is that initiating separate SPI receive calls takes too long between commands.Running the following code to initiate back to back SPI reads:HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_6, GPIO_PIN_RESET); //CS LOW HAL_SPI_Receive(&hspi1, (uint8_t *)spi_buffer, 1,40); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_6, GPIO_PIN_SET); //CS high   HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_6, GPIO_PIN_RESET); //CS LOW HAL_SPI_Receive(&hspi1, (uint8_t *)spi_buffer, 1,40); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_6, GPIO_PIN_SET); //CS highProduces the following timing: The STM32 is operating at 180MHz, and the SPI CLK is at ~30MHz. You can see that once the

I need to communicate by I2C my board that contains the LIS3DH accelerometer with the MKI109V3 adapter board. In order to evaluate if the sensor readings are correct. From what I understand, the MKI109V3 evaluation board allows communication via SPI and I2C. But, still not able to do it by I2C.In my project I use the following signals:SCLSDAWhile the signals:SDO/SA0 (connected to 3V3)CS (connected to 3V3)And I am using Unico-GUI software version 9.12.0.0And I have the following response.I would like to know what I have to do to establish I2C communication between my board (slave) and the MKI109V3 board (master).

Hello,I'm working on a project that requires collecting data from the LSM6DSOTR sensor. I want to use the ML capabilities of the IMU, but it seems like I need an ST evaluation board to use the software? I currently have the the LSM6DSO connected to an STM32 board, already programmed with data acquisition. It seemed that I could use NRF Connect to acquire the data, and Weka to obtain the .ufc, but I don't know if this is accurate. TLDR: Do I need an ST evaluation board to use the ML capabilities of the LSM6DSOTR?

Is USART1 on APB1 (AN5593, tab.17) or APB2 (DS, RM, CubeMX) and USART2 on APB1 (DS, RM, CubeMX) or APB2 (AN5593, tab.17)? Guess, there is an issue in an5593-how-to-use-the-gpdma-for-stm32u5-series-microcontrollers-stmicroelectronics Rv.4 , isn‘t it?

Can someone please tell me how to start multiple channels of  ADC? from zero using DMA? I am able to do it using the Polling method but I'm finding it difficult using the DMA

Hi! I am using an STM32F103C8T6 mikrocontroller and i program with makefile and VsCode. I use the CAN on it and i need to work with STDID and a EXTID. On the bus there is dozens of standart CAN messages and sometime exteneded messages. From the standart ID-s i just need which identifier is 0x7C1 and next to that i need the all exteneded messages too. I would like to direct the standart messages in FiFo1 and the extened to FiFo0 (or inversely doesnt matter just one FiFO for the extened and other for the standart). I have created two canfilterconfig like this: For the exntened:   canfilterconfig_EXT.FilterActivation = CAN_FILTER_ENABLE;   canfilterconfig_EXT.FilterBank = 0;     canfilterconfig_EXT.FilterFIFOAssignment = CAN_RX_FIFO0;   canfilterconfig_EXT.FilterIdHigh = 0x00;    canfilterconfig_EXT.FilterIdLow = 0x04; // IDE bit   canfilterconfig_EXT.FilterMaskIdHigh = 0x00;    canfilterconfig_EXT.FilterMaskIdLow = 0x04; // IDE bit

Hello everyone, for my project I need to enter the secure mode on a em4233 Glastag. I also use X-Cube-NFC6. The rfal-librarys only support tags from STM. I do not know how to send the command to the Tag can some explain or provide a example. Thanks

https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000PoivmSAB/changing-the-emmc-pins-with-otpI have the same pin mapping as above: SDMMC2_CK - PE3 (AF09)SDMMC2_D0 - PE6 (AF07)SDMMC2_CMD - PG6 (AF10)I programmed the OTP fuses as follows:WORD 3: 0x23000004 (I also program SD as primary and eMMC as secondary)WORD 5: 0x56755395WORD 6: 0x000076A4The problem is that even after flashing the eMMC with the TFA image as per the following procedure: https://u-boot.readthedocs.io/en/latest/board/st/stm32mp1.html#prepare-emmc I still get nothing on the UART4 console. We also put a scope on the SDMMC2_CK line and no clock is detected. Does it mean the BootROM is not accessing the eMMC?Am I missing something?

I am trying to migrate from ecosystem 4.1.0 to 5.0.0 however after getting all the device trees to compile and build plus a new image I am encountering a Panic in optee. The problem is that it just says Panic and I can't tell based on the debug prints which direction to take. The board is a custom design based on the stm32mp157a-dk1 and all the vital components are the same (PMIC, SDMMC, etc)Any suggestions on how I could debug this further?I have attached the full debug console logs and is what I get from the console without the optee debug prints since it's too many lines: NOTICE: CPU: STM32MP153AAC Rev.Z NOTICE: Model: STMicroelectronics custom STM32CubeMX board - openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21 NOTICE: Board: MBfdd8 Var2.15 Rev.B-14 INFO: Reset reason (0x15): INFO: Power-on Reset (rst_por) INFO: FCONF: Reading TB_FW firmware configuration file from: 0x2ffe2000 INFO: FCONF: Reading firmware configuration information for: stm32mp_io INFO: Using SDMMC INFO: Instanc

For an STM32H747i-DISCO board (800x480 lcd), I have used TouchGFX Designer v4.22.1 to create a very simple project with a box and static graph. The white box was maximized to the full screen. The static graph was untouched.I imported this project into CubeIDE v1.13.2.I want to be able to draw 799 horizontal line segments on the lcd. I am getting close but cannot get the resulting line to reach across the entire screen. It gets about 15% across and then stops. The starting point of this short line can be moved to the right by adding a constant to 'segmentCounter' in  graph1.addDataPoint( segmentCounter , 240 );, but the length of the line doesn't change.Any hints to what I am doing wrong would be appreciated. The attached code should draw 799 one-pixel line line segments. Attached are Screen1View.cpp and .hpp, plus a picture of the display.

Hello forum and devs!Have one simple question: datasheet of STM32F407ZGT (STM32F40x series) and Cube MX says me, that this MCU doesn't contain USART6_CTS pin, but contain two USART6_CK pins. Is it mistake, and where is USART6_CTS pin?Official datasheet's page:https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32f405rg.pdf

Hi! I wonder if the P-divider for the PLL1 on the STM32H743 is allowed to be 1.The reference manual (rev. 8 ) states in figure 47 (section 8.5.5) that only values from 2, 4, ... to 128 are allowed. In the register description (section 8.7.13) however, a divider of 1 corresponding to a register value of 0 is also listed as valid. Which one is correct? Kind regards

Good morning, I have some problems with interrupt priority on the STM32F429.I set up a serial communication on UART1 with this priority// USARTNVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannel = USART1_IRQn;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelPreemptionPriority = 0;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelSubPriority = 0;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelCmd = ENABLE;NVIC_Init ( &NVIC_InitStructure );I also set a TIM1 timer with this priority.// TIM1NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannel = TIM1_UP_TIM10_IRQn;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelPreemptionPriority = 1;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelSubPriority = 1;NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelCmd = ENABLE;NVIC_Init (&NVIC_InitStructure);Although the serial priority is greater than the timer priority, if I am executing the timer interrupt routine (lasting about 200usec), I have verified that when I receive data via serial at 57600,N,8,1 (and therefore a byte every 156us ) the data is lost because it does not enter the serial interrupt routine. Why does
