When plugging in a device in DFU mode to a native USB port of the notebook cubeprogrammer reports:When using it over USB HUB or other port the Cubeprogrammer works fine (we never activated RDP).USBDeview shows no difference in the installed drivers. Happens on various machines/pcs/notebooks.

I've recently evaluated the AEK-MOT-MR200G1 and AEK-MOT-TK200G1 evaluation boards to gain a better understanding of using the L99DZ200G device and have noticed that neither of those boards used the on-chip CAN transceiver in the L99DZ200G device but, instead, used a separate CAN transceiver device. Is there a known problem with using the on-chip CAN transceiver in the L99DZ200G device?Should I also use a separate CAN transceiver if I'm to use the L99DZ200G in a design?I've written an Arduino library to control the L99DZ200G device from an Arduino Nano, Arduino Nano Every, or a Teensy 3.1 (using Teensyduino).(see https://github.com/dlkeng/Arduino_DLK_L99DZ200G)

I have programmed STMG030k8T6 MCU in a prototypeChannels used ADC_IN_0 as T_sense  ADC_IN_15 AS BattMonif I am calling any one of the function I am getting exact values what i measure in hardwareBut if i called them both only reading values from CH 0 please help me to sort it out stuck for  a long in thisNote:When i used conversion with DMA ,also getting the same issuesReading channel_0reading channel_15but when read bothAlready I have tried maximum of suggestions by the people but still struggling to get the solution  void Get_Tsense(void) { ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_0; sConfig.Rank = ADC_RANK_CHANNEL_NUMBER; sConfig.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLINGTIME_COMMON_1; if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000); Tsense_raw=HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); Tsense=(Tsense_raw*3.3)/4095; HAL_ADC_St

Hi everyone,I'm working in a Medical devices company and we use currently plenty of STM32s (F0,F1,F4, maybe soon H7). Until now, we didn't bother that much the cybersecurity topic for the firmwares but now the norms are forcing us :D.I checked a bit all the security features availables on STM32 products and i'm a bit confused because there is a looooot.Anyway, we currently use stm32-flasher to update our firmware via the uart interface of the bootloader. Here comes my question, how can i secure this update, we to be able to update if it's needed but to avoid/make it more difficult for anyone connecting to the device from our main CPU via our external debug interface? Thanks in advance for your answer,Thomas

I'm using an STM32F373's UART to output MIDI data.  Basiclly the TX USART pin needs to light an LED in the MIDI cable's opto-coupler.  I currently have the TX pin connected directly to the MIDI DIN connector pin through a 200ohm resistor.  I know this is ok to power an LED locally on the PCB, but is this ok if the signal is powering an LED at the end of an external MIDI cable which potentially could be shorted or have power connected into it by mistake?  Should I isolate it the uC's TX pin?  ( was thinking using an 4N35 optoisolator like I did for the MIDI input/USART RX, but wanted to see if there was a more optimal design option. Thanks,

Controller:STM32G473RET6IDE:STM32CubeMX+Keil（LL library）Using DMA1 channel 1, copy the data collected by the ADC during half transfer interrupts and transfer complete interrupts.Discovered that half transmission interrupts and full transmission interrupts cannot be used independently.Specifically reflected in:(1)When DMA1 is initialized, if the half transfer interrupt is turned on and the  transfer complete interrupt is turned off, the full transfer interrupt can still be triggeredLL_DMA_EnableIT_HT(DMA1,LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1);LL_DMA_DisableIT_TC(DMA1,LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1);(2)During DMA1 initialization, if the half transfer interrupt is turned off and the transfer complete  interrupt is turned on, the half transfer interrupt can still be triggeredLL_DMA_EnableIT_TC(DMA1,LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1);LL_DMA_DisableIT_HC(DMA1,LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1);

I am working on building a BMS using L9961 IC, based on a research I figured out that in case of fast charging it is suggested to add two or more power MOSFET gates in parallel as seen in the figure below to reduce temperature rise and ensure reliable operation of the power MOSFET. Is there any draw backs for the following configuration ?Best Regards,Mohamed Smaili

Is it possible to revert a project to an earlier firmware version? I was able to upgrade, but now I can't figure out how to change back to the previous version.I also can't create a new project with the older firmware version either (the dropdown is greyed-out / disabled), even though I have multiple firmware versions installed.

Hi,I am using Cube IDE to study. And the boardNucleo-uaa5zj-q.My first program "Hello World" is printed well on the console. But I would like to know what OS is running on this board? If it is Free RTOS, in Pinout & Config -> Middleware, why could I choose X-CUBE-FREERTOS? Thanks

Hi team.I’m using VSCode with STM32 VSCode extension. And I want to know, how to generate st-project.cmake when add new .c and .h files automatically? Is  there any way?

Hi,has anyone experienced similar issue when installing STM32CubeIDE?I am downloading STM32CubeIDE from ST official here , unzipping and double-clicking received exe file (in this particular case st-stm32cubeide_1.13.2_18220_20230914_1601_x86_64.exe)I am starting installation with admin rights and see:but it gets stuck here:it simply disappears after few seconds and I can do nothing ;(I have tried also with other version and the same result. Basically I had previously STM32CubeIDE 1.8.0 and worked fine, but uninstalled to update to the newest version. And problems started. Any hints what to check, where to check?

Hi.I am Jose Manuel. We have developed a custom board where the MCU is STM32H735IGT6, the external SRAM is APS12808L-3OBMX-BA and the external flash is W25Q128JVEIM.The problem is that we want to work with 100 MHz, but it does not work, it just work up to 60 MHz.We have developed a board with four levels, the same lenghts in the route and the same vias. Below, attached the interface between the SRAM and MCU. Could you please tell us what steps we have not done? Whats the recommendation to follow? Thanks you and Best regards,José Manuel

hello experts ,my device is stm32f103c8t6 ,cubeide 1.14.0it shows 64kb flash in ide but shows 128kb in stmcube programmer ,my issue is if i write flash from inside the programme while mcu running then it writes fine but when i erase the page and try to write again it does not write , my code is here ,HAL_FLASH_Unlock();HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_HALFWORD, 0x0800FC00,1000);// page 63//write fine until hereHAL_Delay(100);FLASH_PageErase(0x0800FC00); //page 63//erase page ok but after using erase it doesnt wite anythingHAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_HALFWORD, 0x0800FC04,1000);//defaultsHAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_HALFWORD, 0x0800FC06,100);//ddo anyone know problem ?i am trying to use a memory page as eeprom

In your application note, AN4835, you are using resistors R2 and R3. Please can you explain their purpose? My circuit uses the TSZ121 precision op-amp in the classical method without R2 and R3 and it works equally well. Thank you very much for any insight you can provide.Best regards, TK1

AN5669 seems to indicate that the BLE Object Transfer Service is available on STM32WB devices. Are there any technical documents or examples showing how this would be used in an STM32Cube application?

Hi all, I am looking into generating a PWM signal using the Timers and route it to the PA5 pin to blink the LED, but PA5 does not have a TIM routed to it. I thought about just having a timer work in my code and toggle the pin every second by checking the counter register, but is there any better / cleaner way to use PWM with the LED pin on this model?Thank you!

Hi All,I need to change parameter  Minimum  frequency  "MIN_FREQUENCY_TH "  by main.cnot chage  in acim_vf_parameters.h Please help me for advice.BR,Methee

Hi,I need RTC LSE schematics and ETHERNET output schematic for STM32H563ZI, where can I find them, I am searching but It directs me to datasheets that don't have schematicsThanks for your answers.

[VERSION]: MCSDK 6.1.2 and 6.2.0.[TOOL]: MC Workbench, MC Pilot, MC Firmware.[DETAILS]:I developed a control/power board, a custom Hall sensors board and a motor (which will interface a reduction drive) for AGV application. I was able to integrate very well with both versions of the SDK (6.1.2 and 6.2.0). As a start point, it is perfect if you understand how to use it, as it reduces development time of well-known algorithms. I was able to test boards + motor without any problems, at full load, all protections are working, and I checked that current measurement is clean (after adjust the parameters) - not in no-load situation, but this is not a problem as the motor will never run in this situation and noise is expected given measurement range. Given the complexity and requirements of the SDK, the entire application was developed in the while(1) loop, without interruptions, and it runs every 25ms. The problems I am facing relate to 2 situations, both with or without adding the user appli

I've tried to enable the CRYPT and HASH peripherals by setting bits 5 and 4 in the AHB2ENR register, but all peripheral registers read as zero and writes are ignored as if the clock wasn't enabled or the peripheral was missing. Does this chip have hardware crypto and if it does what's required to initialize the hardware to calculate a SHA256 hash?

Hello, I see there are two open drain output pins on the STBC15: CHGINOK and PG. If I don’t need to read the CHGINOK and PG status, can they either be left floating or connected to ground, without needing to add an external pullup? Please confirm if this is the correct understanding. Thanks

Hello, how can I generate a srec file with option bytes configuration in offline mode?No St-Link and no hardware is connected!STVP is an old tool which can do this simple things. But it does not support all the microcontroller types (stm32Gxx).Thank you for updating the version 2.15 to 3.0 ;)

I  want to display the data on web interface with NUCLEO-H743ZI2 board without RTOS . Can anyone please guide me how to configure LWIP, ETH parameters settings in RMII mode and  MCU settings, pin configuration.Thank you in Advance!
