STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.13.0; Build: 17399_20230707_0829 (UTC). It seems that the IDE greys-out the options to use HSE: Unless both PF0 is configured as RCC_OSC_IN and PF1 is configured as RCC_OSC_OUT: Surely, it should be possible to use HSE when only PF0 is configured as RCC_OSC_IN - as shown in the Reference Manual:

Hello!  I've been using STM32 products for a while now and it appears that STM32CubeIDE is not actually generating code correctly for the STM32MP157D-DK1 board (though I suspect it will be similar with other chips/boards as well).  I am using V1.13.2 and have tried it on both Linux and Windows, same result.  I am accepting the default settings for everything, I can see the GPIO outputs are set for the LEDs (for instance) in the *.ioc file.  When I generate the code, it appears the code is not being generated correctly.  For instance, the declared LED pins are not being declared in main.h and the GPIO Init section enables the clocks on the port but doesn't setup any of the pins.  I suspect other IO is also being affected but this is all I have tested currently.  I was in the process of moving some of the example projects over to an IOC project to make it easier to reconfigure peripherals but it doesn't appear there are any upsides to doi

Good afternoon, currently I want to write a simple NDEF File in the tag's EEPROM by using ST25R3916-DISCO kit.I will attach the guide pdf, "ST25PcDemoApp_software_guide" at below for reference.I faced this problem after I added JARs into "Java Build Path" under Libraries. The JARs are in the file provided by STSW-ST25SDK001 which included:"commons-lang3-3.5.jar", "st25pc-model-readers-1.10.0.jar", "st25sdk-1.10.0.jar" and "st25pc-model-readers-1.9.0".However, "st25pc-model-readers-1.9.0" doesn't come with "st25sdk-1.9.0.jar", so I tried to use "10" instead.I'm unsure if the guide is using 1.9.0 because it was not stated clearly. The guide says that after I add the JARs, I should be able to see the public API displayed in the Eclipse Project (page 20) , but I don't see any API is displayed.Instead, under the "Referenced Libraries folders", I was able to see the packages.May I assume that the packages data was not passed to the Eclipse IDE software thus they're not synchronized and the API

Hi,Anyone having experience of reading data memory of ST25DV04K (ISO 15693) using a elatec TWN4 NFC reader? Regards Tomas

Hi,I have an STM32MP157d-dk1 board, which I am flashing with a Yocto Kirkstone, core-image-minimal image.I am trying to enable production mode debugging of the M4 through STM32CubeIDE, but so far without success.I have added ssh and sftp to my local.conf file:IMAGE_INSTALL:append = " module-init-tools openssh " EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES ?= "debug-tweaks tools-debug eclipse-debug ssh-server-openssh" CORE_IMAGE_EXTRA_INSTALL += "openssh-sftp openssh-sftp-server"and I have loaded the USB Gadget Ethernet module on the MP1:modprobe g_ether dev_addr=12:34:56:78:9a:bc host_addr=12:34:56:78:9a:bd ifconfig usb0 192.168.7.1 netmask 255.255.255.0I have configured my debugging profile to use "thru Linux Core" and set it up with the proper IP.When trying to connect to the board from CubeIDE, it stays in yellow light, with either status "Status: Idle" or "Status: Busy", but never gets a green light. If I start the debugger, it says "Configured inet address '192.168.7.1' not reachable"Everything works as e

I create sample code for FLASH Erase Program on both mdk arm and stm32cubeide. Using the sample hardware(stm32h563ZITx develop board), the sample code runs correctly on stm32cubeide, but will enter Error hander when doing Flash operation in keil debug mode.:if (HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&EraseInitStruct, &SectorError) != HAL_OK){while (1){Error_Handler();}} The C code for two project are the same. The only difference is IDE. This issue only occurs in debug mode. If I download the code into flash without entering debug mode, the code will successfully run. By debugging, I find FLASH_NS->NSSR was set as 0x0040000 when I get into the main function of debug mode in Keil, while FLASH_NS->NSSR is 0 when I debug on stm32cubeIDE. Then I try to manually clear FLASH_NS->NSSR by setting FLASH->NSCCR as 0x40000.But there will be following bug.

Hello,I want to read and write to st25dv64kc IC with X-Nucleo-NFC03A1 reader/writer. I can write up to 4 bytes with rfalNfcvPollerWriteSingleBlock() function. But when I want to write 2 blocks or more with rfalNfcvPollerWriteMultipleBlocks() function, I get an error when I want to read at the same time. What am I doing wrong in the code I wrote, How many blocks of multiple reads and multiple writes can I do at one time? void masterNFCV(rfalNfcvListenDevice *nfcvDev){      ReturnCode  err;      uint16_t rcvLen;      uint8_t blockNum = 2;      uint8_t rxBuf[1 + 2*4 + RFAL_CRC_LEN];      uint8_t *uid;      uint8_t reqFlag;       uint8_t wrData[8] = {0x11, 0x99, 0xFF, 0x00, 0x67, 0xA5, 0xCF, 0xFF};            uid = nfcvDev->InvRes.UID; &

I have a Nucleo F303ZE and enabled USB Device middleware along with the USB 'Device FS' Connectivity.  I also configured the CDC_SET_LINE_CODING and CDC_GET_LINE_CODING  functions in USB_DEVICE/App/usbd_cdc_if.c I connect a USB cable to the STLink connector as usual which powers the board.  I then connect a USB cable to the CN13 usb port but the PC does not 'detect' this new USB connection.  I run 'lsusb' on my linux machine and only see the STLink connection, but not the second USB connection.Any ideas on what I may have missed? Thanks

Hello,I'm using TCPP03 for a DRP solution. For my design it would be good to use the Mosfet drivers for controlling a logic input for further power control instead of using Mosfets. Is it possible to use the gatedrivers with the SRC-pins connected to Ground and feed the GATE-Pins to an input of a logic device? I'm aware that I have to take care for the logic level translation.I did already tests and it worked so far. Just to get safe that there will be nor furhter impacts, I want to know your suggestion for this.RegardsMichael Houzer

Hello All,in the function VL53L0X_PerformSingleHistogramMeasurement from api library it is said that the code isn't implemented yet. Is there a way to get histogram measurements using this chip ? otherwise which chip should I choose to get histogram data ? Thank you

Can any of the expert share an example of ADC configured in Sequencer not fully configurable mode please? Its hard to find the solution .As the project had predefined prototype I need to sort it out with the configuaration and mandatory to use PA12 (adc_in_15)and PA11(adc_in15).Please

Using MP135F-DK board.Setup the environment and rebuild kernel. After I use openocd and gdb success connect to linux system, try to debug linux kernel, then run some simple gdb command like "bt" or do nothing, then system get reset.I did not get much useful info from console (minicom).if I don't pause system and let gdb "continue", then no reset. Is it because watchdog ? how to disable it.

Hi, I'm trying to develop a FW for one of my custom boards that has an ethernet interface.I'm using STM32CubeIDE, I generated the code with the configurator, and without even writing a line of code, if I go into debug, during the initialization of the HAL the code immediately jumps to: void Error_Handler(void){ I wanted to ask, Is there a way to know at which point the code jumped to Error_Handler(void), so as to try to understand where the problem is.In other words, is it possible to run the code backwards or see from which line a certain function was called?

Hello,I'm interfacing the STEVAL$MKI238AA through serial commands with STEVAL-MKI109V3. The UM2116 document in its Rev 10 - April 2022 doesn't mention any reference to the LIS2DUX12. I would like to know what is the format when I send the command *start. In table 4 (page 18) there is a long table explaining the format from all different board that can be connected but lacks of the STEVAL-MKI109V3.Could you guys provide an upgraded version of the document with this information or just the format that I'm looking for?Regards,Pascal.

Hi,I am creating an application where firmware version will be verified before flashing in the MCU flash using custom bootloader.Would like to understand, do we have any feature in STM32CubeIDE to append a header/ some dedicated data at the end of binary image while generating the .bin file for firmware. If not, can you please suggest some method to append firmware version in binary image, which can then be verified by bootloader before flashing the image in application area.

Do you have the antenna size and design process reference of NFC07A1? I want to know how to match the circuit and what is the inductance of the antenna.

Hi, I am trying to program the TFT LCD screen that is on STM3240G-EVAL MCU through STM32CUBEIDE. I just want to be able to put text onto it, or even a simple "Hello World program", but i cant get anything to display or find any tutorials. I'm not sure if i need to set each pin to an output on the STM32CUBEIDE, or whether i just don't have the write code. Any advice or links to tutorials or code would be appreciated. Thanks!

hi,    "AEK-AUD-C1D9031" contain MCU  "SPC582B60E1". can i use IAR embedded workbench and Green Hills Software for coding the MCU.

Hello..We are using STM32MP157A-DK1 Kit.We have quarry that can we  access ddr memory from CM4.As there no proper information in reference manual that how to access ddr memory from CM4.Please help us in accessing  DDR memory from CM4.  regards,Navaneeth kumar

Hi CommunityI could use some help regarding UART on the "Bluepill" board so I can get my night sleep back againI'm working on a small project where I'm creating some interrupt driven bit frames on 16 outputs. Each frame is 16mSec long and consists of a 4.3mS start bit followed by 16 data-bits.each with a fixed 310uS low period, a fixed 155uS high period and the last part of each bit it 155us and is low or high dependent on the set valueSo far so good, this part is working very stable and reliable Then I need to receive commands on the UART and use these commands to set the bits in the frames, but I have big problems receiving these commands via the UART.The problem is that sending eg. abc and then cr to the UART is given me aabbbccc\0 in the Command bufferAs a test, looping the received byte back directly in the interrupt handler is given me ee when I send a single e to the UART port. Same for all chars.....I get 2 chars backWhat am I missing or what am I doing wrong? My understand

Hi All ,I need to change  phase 120 degree to 90 degree in MotorControl Workbench 6.2.0 Can change in file mc_math.c?For use single phase motor 3 wire  Please help me for advice. BR,METHEE

Hello,I would like to know how can i perform the Device Firmware upgrade using ST25DV dynamic tag.I am using "en.STSW-ST25DV001SC-Source_v1.2.0" and tried out both demonstration examples ST25DVDemo ( firmware update using internal flash)I am able to perform firmware update using ST25DV demo example, but after reset it jumps to original firmware. So i would like to know how can i implement a firmware upgrade feature using "ST25DVDemo" example so that after reset it boots to the uploaded firmware instead of the old firmware.Thanks,Nikhil.

Hello Team,In my application using STM32G431KCU6 at 160MHz, I want to trigger ADC2 channel by TIM1 channel. I aim to read ADC value synchronously with 1.1kHz pwm signal. When I set up the CubeMX config, i can see that TIM1 trigger OutputCompareCallback function but i can not trigger ADC_ConvCpltCallback. Shared my ADC and TIM1 configuration below:Also I am confused about starting ADC on software because ADC is not continuous conversion mode. Should i start and stop ADC as below or any suggest? My finalize code as below: Thanks for your help. Best Regards,Basri.

Hi,I designed a board with NFC Chip ST25DV64KC, which will be connected with a extra antenna, during the selecting of antenna products, one parameter confuses me very much: the self-Resonance Frequency, is it important? For example this product. Or all antennas with specifical frequency 13.56MHz will work with ST25DV64KC? Thanks in advanc.Danny

I am using two stm32H7A3ZI-Q board to transmit and receive data (which is a double). I am using HAL_UART_Tramsit and HAL_UART_Receive_IT to send and receive the data. When i connect Tx to Rx on the same board, it sends and receives data fine. The image below, is showing that both boards are working when Tx is connected to Rx on the same board. When connecting the Tx of board 1 to Rx of board 2 and Tx of board 2 to Rx of board 1 it stops working and it receives nan (Not a Number). The image below is showing this. I dont think it has anything to do with my calculations because when i send a integer is still happens. Thank you for your help.  This is how i am sending and receive data
